Hello and greetings to all. I have just started the process of making NCAA Basketball 10 rosters for Xbox 360, and any help is appreciated. This is the second year in a row that we have been doing these. For last year's rosters, see my other thread.

1. Format a USB stick on the Xbox 360.
1. Save a roster file in NCAA Basketball 10 to your USB
3. Download our roster on page 12.
4. Download a program called Horizon and open horizon.
5. Go to tools, device explorer, and double click games and apps.
6. Double click NCAA Basketball 10 and click and drag your saved roster file to the center.
7. Click contents, right click your save and click replace.
8. Find the downloaded roster file, click open, now click save rehash and resign.
9. Now load up your game and enjoy!

Just wanted to check in and see how these rosters are coming along. I do have the game, but have pretty limited time to play/edit teams. I'm just curious how exactly you get a group to edit this game since there's no sufficient editing software?

Any information would be helpful! I can potentially pitch in to help with specific teams or conferences, but my availability is limited. Thanks!

Hey guys. As many of you guys know I worked on rosters last year, and I mentioned that I would do them this year. Something really big just happened in my life, and it takes priority over this project. I would really love to help, but I just don’t have the time. I can do a few teams like Michigan, but just not a lot that would be hard to find info on. Thanks for understanding!

Thanks for giving the xbox360 game new life last year, since it seemed dead with no rosters in the year prior to that. Who knows, maybe you can always come back by March madness and post any updates ...even a couple teams would be cool. I think we are all getting too old and busy to tackle a project like this. Hopefully chill or anyone else wil keep it alive another year.
-----..too bad we cannot convert ps3 rosters to xbox360. The only way would be manually copying all the players in game one by one having both consoles next to each other but even that would take too long. I have this game for the ps3 emulator so I was thinking of trying to copy a few teams from a ps3 roster. But I also have no time to really do anything big like that. Just an idea. I just purchased this game and won't receive it till next week to try it out.

update Moving Forward with Parent22 Roster: I attempted copying gatordemps ps3 roster files manually by looking at it on a PS3 emulator and manually editing in game...and I managed to make Florida & KY for this season and added them into the last Parent22 file(below);update 3 more teams updated next page {Duke, Xavier, &Auburn). But copying the data manually took around 10hrs total to finish 5 teams. It was fun, but very time consuming @ 2 1/2 hrs a team...if no one posts any more updates in Dec Holidays & if I do some more I will share them again. But I'm way too busy to do many more...just takes too much time to make teams for this game with the best care.

Update2: I have taken 3 hrs just taking pictures of top 10 teams from gatorDemps-
(at the risk of overheating my Computer running a PS3 emulator )
--It has in depth ratings and player models for

1st file-Duke, Michigan St., Louisville, Kansas,
2nd file-Virginia, Gonzaga,Texas Tech, Memphis

If you are a fan of any of these teams you can take time manually copy& editing them in game. They are from GatorDemps PS3 roster, so credit goes to him for the edits. But I deserve credit for taking pictures using a PS3 emulator-and posting my file below .

I went ahead and posted My WIP 2019-20 ROSTER FILE (3rd file below) what I have so far (only FL & KY updated)., merged with mustangs post of 16 older teams 2018-19 edits by parent22---those need to be updated this season.

Transfer file method based on all the guides here:

1a. Download the full save file rosters from here on Operation sports.
(you know they are full sized if they are 3.44mb or 3528kb in size. If it is 3.44mb then proceed to step 2. If file is smaller than 3.44mb around 3.32mb or 3428kb, then see step 1b at bottom of guide.

2. take HxD hexeditor. AND go to line 360 and edit the first Zeros to the Device ID #: 45 41 08 C3, then SAVE.

3. Then use Horizon2.9 and drag your HxD edited Roster Save file into it.

you should edit the Profile ID, Device ID, and Console id (to the same numbers as the ones found on one of your save roster files taken from your console and put on your flash drive); You should also notice game ID is 454108C3 from your hexedit work.

4. Then just Click on Save, Rehash, and sign button.
5. Move this file back to your Flash Drive to proper folder

USB FLASH DRIVE > Content >E0000XXXX > 454108C3 > 00000001 >..here..
6. Take it to your Xbox360 and load it up in game. And hopefully it works.

1b. If the files are only file contents sized 3.32mb or 3428kb in size, then you must first create a Full Save roster in game and move that roster to a flash drive.

You will then go back to Step 2 withHxD hexeditor and make sure your own Full Save file has Device ID number set to 45 41 08 C3. --(you may be able to do entire transfer without HxD step unsure really)

Then Proceed to Step 3.

But here is the extra New step--you must click on Contents and replace the smaller 3.32 mb file contents with new smaller file (3428kb in size) downloaded from operation Sports. And then finally Save Rehash, & Sign the file.

If your resulting file is 3528kb or 3.44mb in size then it will hopefully work. If it is too large around 6900kb or 6+mb then it may not work giving damaged roster error; Uncertain if HxD edit step may be needed again to add game ID code or make zeros again. Then save rehash & sign again to make the file go back down to the normal 3528kb size, or make it work.

Not sure if My file will work for everyone. I included 2 choice of files: I copied the Full Save file 3.44mb or 3528kb directly from my Flash Drive and a File Contents of 3.34mb or 3423kb extracted using Modio3 , to replace into your own save file using horizon2.9 or modio. Use whichever file & program works better for your preferred transfer process.

Note: if transfer process using Horizon doesn't work, then start over using Modio and just changing profile id and device id and save and rehash, drag file back to your USB flash drive correct folder.
Hopefully some brave soul can try updating more of the players data from 10 more team edits using the Pictures I posted in first 2 files from gatorDemps 2019-20 roster. (it may take 2+hrs per team to do it exactly like the pictures below; also you may have to completely overlap edit on top of last years player edits by parent22 to get the right YEAR for each player eg.FR, SO,JR, SRs--.).

The community, mustang and parent22 are free to continue updating this into the new season.

(I'm still hoping Chill posts his own different roster as a working file on his thread, which is further along with 8 teams done.).

Anyone who knows how to post & upload Zipfiles here and edit players, are free to use these pictures I posted to update the top teams copying all the numbers manually and using player images and going in game fixing the starting lineups. I have 5 teams done in next post, but Everyone needs to put in hard work updating this manually with my pictures to get it up to 18+ teams completed. --if everyone does a couple taking turns then it could be updated faster. I may return to do a couple more in a month, but doubtful I can get much more done since I am way too busy. I spent more time posting 10 more teams pics from gatordemps PS3 30 team roster.

No unfortunately. This question is asked every year past 7+ years since the editors were created by xanathol. Even he tried himself to make an editor but he stated it would always crash trying to open ncaa10 basketball files. I think we are all so lucky xanathol made the football editors. He moved on professionally after being here for only a few months. If you search in the football editor thread you will find a couple of posts where he actually tried ncaa10 basketball rosters.

But I believe he might have been the only one who could have figured a way to make an editor for this if he was only here a little longer. So in game editing is the only way rosters can be made. It's a little easier than CH2k8 to edit since there are less body model details to customize but it requires atleast a couple hours per team.

2019-20 roster

11-30-19 My update to this Roster:
My attempt to copy a few more of gatordemps ps3 roster teams.
5 total teams Auburn, Xavier, & Duke partially most of the new players (along with KY, and FL) are done.

-copied from gatordemps PS3 edits & I made Xavier myself.
-once again they took a couple hrs each team, to match up FR with FR, So with So, Jr with jr, sr with sr. and make faces look right, and team starters and rotations.
-There is no plan to finish this roster due to the uphill battle to edit this game. Last year Parent22 and mustang finished 17 teams, so my 3 new teams bring total teams here to 20 (but only 5 updated) ...we will just edit whatever we can or desire.

Yes anyone is free to try making some more teams.
(I don't plan to update any teams until this Jan 2 at the earliest--but once work and school begins Jan7 I probably won't do much more.). So if you want to update it now go ahead. Then we can take turns. Just mention which teams you are doing and when you are editing.... so we can coordinate who is editing the file and know if it is free for any of us to take the file.)
-it can be a slow process so take your time to do it right eg. with correct player year matched with real life player--it can be annoying finding enough spots for SR,JR, So, and FR. They are hardcoded into the game where there's about 3 to 4 player spots for each year, so just try your best.
-I am hoping we can all update the best teams that have never been made in this file yet eg.: Louiville, Kansas,Ohio st, Maryland, Baylor, Oregon,Arizona,Memphis.

(but great teams already in this file from last year also need a newer 2019-20 update eg.: Mich St, NorthCarolina, Villanova, Gonzaga, Virginia, & Seton Hall.)
-You can use pictures I posted in my prior posts to program any of these.

-I don't know much about editing teams, so I've been using Gatordemps roster pictures to copy the data, ratings and player likeness...I've noticed GatorDemps has been known as a trusted source over the past 10 years. But if you know a team well, you are free to change things to improve things more and get them a little more accurate.

-Just be sure you know how to copy a roster save file from your xbox360 HDD to a Flashdrive.--see spoiler

Make backups for yourself in case of an error or accidental erasing files. And then upload it here as a zipfile on the forum.
-Some of these steps may be difficult for people to do it correctly.--just let us know here if you cannot do it properly. On the other forum Chill's roster files were not working, so it can be challenging to upload the files properly.

-I first go to Xbox360 main home screen, storage settings screen and copy the NCAA10 roster save file to the Flashdrive (previously formatted to work with xbox360 storage save files.). Then I just directly copy the save file from the flashdrive to the PC hdd. (using a Windows 7 or 10 PCs). Final step is to turn it into a ZipFile and upload it to your post here.

Note: After moving files from Xbox360 to usb Drive, the save files will be located here:
USB FLASH DRIVE > Content >E0000XXXX > 454108C3 > 00000001 >.

Note: No need to extract the roster from the save file using horizon or modio--a full save file directly from USB drive should work for everyone.
