anyone playing HUT into helping each other out on team collections?

buddy and i been trading guys back and forth to get the free bonus packs etc.

we have completed 4 teams i do believe..

if anybody else out there like us, post here..

Is it just my bad luck or did the quality of collection reward cards get significantly reduced some time on Sunday?

I was consistently getting at least one to two 86-89 overall cards in the first five collections I completed through Saturday.

Then late Sunday night, when I did Winnipeg, I didn't get a single card above an 84 overall:

EA already tweaked the card rarity algorithms once during the NHL 15 EA Access period. I wouldn't put it past them to do that again since a lot of people were pulling good cards from these reward packs.

What have you guys been seeing with your reward pulls since Sunday night?

Boosted, I'm on XB1.

Jyoung, I was wondering that myself. Because the past two nights my buddies and I have collected like 24 free packs from completing the team collections. Didn't get as many highly rated players as the previous packs.

I did pull a few 88's and an 89. But that was it out of the 24 packs. Found that odd.

Since Sunday, I've done two more 7-pack teams: Columbus and Carolina.

The only card I got that was higher than an 85 overall from those 14 reward packs was a duplicate Eric Staal (89 overall) that I already owned.

"Rare" coaches also seem to take up one of the four rare slots in almost every pack now.

It really seems like they changed the algorithms behind the scenes sometime on Sunday so that these reward pucks wouldn't be as lucrative.

my bud and i have like 15 to 17 teams completed now. we did the 10 pack, forget what team it was. got nothing! lol

i wish someone with a Crosby and Malkin would help us out so we could snag the 12 packs from the Pens.

I've opened 120 collection reward packs. Out of all those gold packs, only these cards are in my lineup right now:

Every other card I've gotten from these packs was a useless player at or below an 86/85 overall rating.

So your odds of getting a "roster player" are extremely low if you choose to complete collections. You will mostly just get lots and lots of junk cards.

Collection rewards are still very buggy at the moment.

One thing you can try is checking to see if you have any duplicate items. Dupes will sometimes prevent the reward from unlocking.

After you've confirmed that there are no dupes lying around, sell off the cheapest card in the collection and then rebuy it from the market. Sometimes doing that will unlock the reward.

Anyone willing to start trading back and forth in order to complete collections? I'm actually looking for a Bobrovski (Goalie, Blue Jackets), otherwise I have that whole collection. I have a smattering of other players.

well, my buddy was able to get a Malkin on the market for 450k. which we thought that was very lucky. just need someone to help out with a Crosby to get the 12 packs for the Pens.

Anyone still doing collections? I made some bad decisions when I started doing them and now have NASH (minus Weber), EDM (minus Hall), and WASH (minus Ovi and Backstrom).

I was able to glitch the Islanders collection without actually getting Tavares and thought I would be able to replicate it

I have Giroux, Gabby, Skinner, Okposo, Halak and Neil as collateral. And 35K in coins.
