1979-80
Assuming things work well for me with "NHL View", I'm working on that season for NHL Legacy (PS3). I can't promise faces and I have no idea how long it will take. I have a lot to learn, also. Anyway, I'll update as I succeed (or fail).

I've changed track and am three teams into 85-86. It's for PS3. (I played the "Winter Classic" with Montreal and Quebec/Colorado. Larry Robinson had a pair, so did Peter Stastny. Pulled Steve Penney after the second, in favour of Roy with Montreal trailing 3-2. Canadiens won 5-3 with the fifth goal an empty netter by Carbonneau.)

On to Hartford/Carolina...

Was gonna say, if OP wants players without helmets, you can do that with the EA DB Editor. Really neat to have the old-timey players without helmets.

Cool! Hope to try it some day =) I've made a complete 90-91 season roster you can look at for face ID's etc. if you wanna use it in NHL View. There's Yzerman, Bourque, Salming, Chelios and a few others Active in -85 in there

No. Everyone has current equipment, except for the retro stick(s) that are in the game. The DB editor is for NHL 13/14 only, as far as I can tell. I'm almost completely done the Adams and Patrick divisions. The teams that shouldn't exist today will be swapped out with DEL German league roster players from today.
