Rogie Vachon`s NHL12 Sliders (BaP Goalie/skater,all other modes)

Nice work on the sliders Rogie but one thing I noticed is that hits are non exsistent with these.

Minor setback in enjoyment level this afternoon.....

I`m not a fan of the VH,especially the way the goalie controls are.

The cpu goalies can paddle down as a normal goalie can,...anywhere anytime.

Human goalies,.....FOOKED! Can only paddle down when you`re outside the paint.

Who the hell thinks of these fooked up ideas?

I have a simple solution,.....make the X button a modifier..to switch between the LT+RT = paddle down(like NHL11)and VH

Hit X, while holding LT+RT or just by itself, switches between paddle down or VH.
Seeing as that button isn`t used during game play.

It would be the best fix for goalies.

Also,...I`m scrutinizing goalie cover at 3,.....just bumped it down to 1,....something is an issue here,I`m trying to figure out.

ALSO....
I bumped up player acceleration to 5/5...the players look better with the overall speed,...fast players look like they are fast and it helps with checking to make it just a little more effective with hitting power at 0.

Poke check effectiveness I dropped to 0/0 too,as this was like last year,making the puck jump in funny ways......it`s not necessary to use anything but 0/0,it works perfect like this,....and it certainly isn`t hard to poke check.

Will give these a go. Online has been destroyed thanks to 1.01, so will be spending more time offline this time around.

Player acceleration was too low at 4/4,....an increase to 5/5 is 1000x better,and it brings the hitting back to life.

You have to remember though,..hockey isn`t wrestling,...it`s not big hits all the time,contrary to what EA thinks.

I'm using all these sliders except the shot accuracy and passing one(for human) since those are areas I like to adjust for myself. I'll post results after games done

Late afternoon update......

I`ve been trying Allstar difficuty this aft.

Played great with the updated sliders.

Super Star difficulty was playing great too.

Still testing.

I`m really loving the passing.

The shot accuracy and slap shot accuracy is still something I might drop for the cpu,.....if it doesn`t effect shot totals too much.

This aft,playing on Super Star difficulty,I felt like I was getting hosed a little with the cpu`s shooting acuracy.

I did make a few tweaks this afternoon,....they are posted on the first page,so give those a whirl.
