curious to see

do you think that with the new game focusing on the rougher side of hockey and how fights and scrums affect the game, that EA will cap the number of fights per game? i don't intend to have my whole team in the penalty box, but i still don't want to see a cap (unrealistic). also, do you think there will be game misconducts to go along with instigator penalties?

I just hope, I can virtually rip Pat Kane's mouth-guard out of his mouth and throw it on the ice.

Re: curious to see

it would be really cool to have a momentum hit vs a rival team that starts up something.

even though the two are not rivals, anybody remember Cory Sarich's hit on Patrick Marleau in the playoffs? Remember how players just ignored the rest of the play and went after Sarich? that would be kinda cool.

a big check that stops play and a scrum starts.
maybe Pat Kaleta laying out Matt Stajan???

those kinds of scrums will be cool.... but if they do limit the amount of fights (3 for example) will the scrums continue even if you have maxed out your fights?

Re: curious to see

The ducks and sharks series had more than 3 fights a game it seemed like, so as far as being unrealistic, i don think it is. If teams hate each other like the ducks and sharks do, I think 3 fights is kind of weak. Getlaf and Thornton went at it on the opening faceoff and then there were 3 other fights that game so I hope that if there is a limit, its more than 3.

i don't think the 2k series had a limit, and it worked out just fine in my opinion. sure there were some games where frustration set in and i ended up in 5 or 6 fights, but isn't that realistic? a 3 fight cap would suck
