I know were supposed to post franchise reports in the corresponding forum but I saw they did this in the Show forum where you just posted how your franchise was doin.

Michalek and Cheechoo have more then made up for the loss of Heatley and with Kovalev I'm just an offensive powerhouse and whenever one of my top 2 lines are out they are generating tons of chances.

I am new to this game, and really do not know much about current players in NHL. Rolling with my hometown Thrashers, dont even know if they are decent. Any advice for team would be appreciated, Starting off against Tampa Bay.

In my Pens franchise using FM`s sliders and playing every game I am urrently 16-12-5. Crosby is leading the team in points iwth 36 and Malkin is right behind him with 33.

Fleury (like in real llife) has been hit or miss for me, some nights hes unstoppable sometimes hes swiss cheese and I never know what Fleury Ill get in a game.

THe play I am most surpised with is Goligoski, he has stepped up and is usually right where I need him whether on D or offense.

Oh another interesting thing is that I had won seven straight, then proceeded to lose seven straight. Streaky Streaky

That pesky thing called studying has been bothering me, unlike many of my university peers...so I'm not that deep into it yet. Had to go with the Hurricanes of course, opened with a 4-1 loss at Philly, a 3-2 OT loss v. Boston, and a 3-2 OT win v. TB, leading me to a 1-1-1 record. Better things to come hopefully, and perhaps some more time to play.

Chose the Isles even know I'm a Flames fan....Edited draft class and drafted Tavares made him a 75 overall, I thought that was fair. I think I am 20-15-5, this kid named Josh Bailey is suprisingly good!!!

Ditto for me, although I am playing around possible trades.

Me too, though if it were just the rookies, I'd probably have started anyway. They've got all sorts of moves like Bertuzzi and Tanguay that happened a month or longer ago, but still aren't accounted for in their "latest" roster.

So I was playing vs Philly and it was a close game with many cheap shots (typical flyer hockey) and Staal through down the gloves against a flyer. He ended up getting his jaw broke. Next game (which is also against philly) he was wearing a jaw protector and had a black eye.

Pretty cool.
