Shipped on Release Day

Has anyone on here preordered NHL 11 online and is getting the game shipped to their house? If so, where'd you order it from and is it coming to your house on release day?

Don't know where else it applies to, but by me, I get my mail mostly on tuesday and if the games coming out tuesday, I'd assume I'd get it shipped to my house, but i contacted a few places and they said it'd take about a week after the release for it to be shipped so I'm wondering if anyone here has found a good place to order the game from and get it shipped to their house on the exact release day, not a few days to a week or more later.

I know I'm going to sound like a big jerk and that's not my intention, but what's the problem with just going to the store?

I don't live near any video game store and dont have access to a ride to get the game.


Closest thing is a blockbuster but I doubt they might have it since when I got MLB, they only had 3 copies on release day.

Use Amazon's release day shipping and you will get it the day it comes out.

No problem with going to stores but shopping online can be cheaper. I used to get my games from gamestop/ebgames but ever since i got my own credit card, i've been using amazon w/ prime membership. I get free release day delivery and amazon often offer $10/$20 credits towards next game purchase if you preorder. On top of that, you don't get charged state tax and i never had a problem with it.

I emailed amazon asking them about this and they said the release day delivery stuff is only available in USA. If I tried to get the game from USA, i'd have to pay like $20 extra to get it shipped to my house on the release day so there's really no point.


I really wanna get some game with paypal though cause my first purchase with it is $10 off.

amazon.ca? i know they have release day shipping for sure. not sure if they take paypal?
