CPU is always quicker than me

I am playing on All-Star with my sliders that I am going to release shortly

A few things that are bothering me
    1) It just seems that the CPU is always the quicker team

    2) The CPU does not tire as easily as me, I can go through 3 line changes before the CPU takes their 1st line off the ice and I have 3 tired lines

    3) The responsiveness just isn't there.....I even turned off manual passing but there is just that little slight delay that gets exposed even more when the CPU magically seems to have another gear that the human player doesn't.

Anybody else feel this way or have any suggestions?

I get that "delayed" feel as well. Not sure if I'm doing it right, but when I try and deliver a body check, i'll "push" or move the right stick, and there is this second delay before he performs that "check"motion, in which case, the player has already skated by.

Trying another controller to see if that is the issue.

I get that a lot.. so i think it's either timing or delay like u said in the game in general as I play on Pro and that occurs to me quite a bit.. sometimes I'd see someone at the board I'm like ohh I'm coming and next thing u know he just skates there and hugs the other players or just try to hump him

The CPU uses hustle. Make sure you do, too.

I tend to get the same feeling. The computer on All-Star isn't "better" or "smarter" just juiced attributes.

This covers the entire gamut. From faceoffs to checking to general skating.

Overall I'm not too bothered by it. I finally decided that All-Star was just an obnoxious and switched to a more amped up Pro.

Apparently pressing down the left stick is hustle without the puck. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet though.

I used to argue this all the time. But that is not true. Period. Redshirt, who is a programmer for the game came on here and said that the CPU has NO attribute boosts if CPU difficulty adjustment slider is set to 0. He was very adamant about it. There is no CPU juiced attributes.

Maybe its not direct attribute boosts but something is up. Would be nice if they would just explain what the difference between rookie and superstar is and how it works.

well for one, the lower the setting the less "active" the players are... players on pro just don't attempt checks/poke checks, etc, at the same rate as all star

From what I remember them saying, I thought ALL STAR was the "even" playing field. "PRO" favored the user. "SUPERSTAR" favored the CPU.

I will say that part of the issue could be fatigue... my team always tires faster than the cpu's w/ the same slider settings. And if you crank fatigue effect up, this could result in your guys looking like pee-wee players in the 3rd period as the cpu skates around them at what seems like 100 mph
