I'm done with NHL 11

I was controlling my Right Defenseman in the corner. I pressed the analogue stick to the left and down so he would pass it behind the net to my left defenseman. Instead, the puck goes in front of my net to the center, off his foot, in the net. I lose the game 3-2 to the Capitols in the finals of an HUT Tournament.

NHL 11 is the biggest joke of a game I've ever played. This is the fourth time this has happened to me. No I am not doing it wrong, I have had three buddies do this, and there are countless other problems that I can't even get on a rant about right now. What a joke, I'm not wasting any more of my time on this broken product, its going back to the store. **** you EA.

Wow...you seem to feel quite strongly about this.....

Perhaps setting the disc on fire in the driveway and stomping it to pieces would produce a lil more satisfaction than returning it to the store ?

It's just a video game, man. Things happen. No need to nerd rage. Maybe you can turn off all CPU assists and see if you get the same result?

Being from Pittsburgh you should be used to disappointment.

Bust seriously, if you find decent sliders and keep it on V 1.00 it plays a solid game of hockey. My main complaint is each team plays the same as the other.

...so you're upset about things being in there that happen in real life?

If you regularly pass backwards trying to bank it off the boards to the other defenseman, expect crazy things to happen. I personally have never had this happen in countless games but I only pass behind the net when I'm around the goal line and I know the pass will actually go behind the goal.
