Custom Team with Duplicate Custom Players Problem?

I am not sure if this is still a problem that NHL 11 has. I know that NHL 09 did though.

If you are not aware of what I am talking about I'll give you an example.

I go and Create a player. Send him directly to Free Agents. Then, I go Create a Team, and within the Create a Team mode I select that same Created Player for my team. However, the problem arose when you were to start a season in BAGM with that created team. Your created team would have your custom player, but he would still be in the FA list, so another team could pick him up.
So ultimately, there would be a duplicate of this player in the league.

Is this still an issue that you need to work around in NHL 11, or was this issue addressed?

This happens because the created team just clones the players you place on it.

    Two solutions:

    1. Move all the players you want on your created team to the team you will eventually replace when you start BeAGM or season.

    2. After the team is created, you can manipulate them from the roster moves menu. Now when you move an FA to your team, he will only be on your team (the same as if you move an FA to a real team).
Currently playing Axis Football (2020) as the Nebraska Thunder

Thanks for the help reno. I never thought of option 2.

What I used to do was put all my players on different Russian teams, then when I put them on my custom team, I didn't care if there was clones of them. All works the same I guess.
