Freezing Issue Thread

I got the retail game yesterday and second game was a freeze.
Played the winter classic intro game, no probs.

Then fixed the settings (didn't touch any sliders, only chose Pro - hardcore, and adjusted camera angle to custom 1)

Tried a play now game, and in the third period it was 2-1, and the CPU scored a late tie (about 18 minutes). In the same second the goal was scored the camera quickly panned from the goal (south) to the goal up (north) and the game frooze. Could still hear the crowd noises, but completely locked down. PS3 didn't freeze though, so could choose "quit game" from XMB.

Ah, yeah... this was on PS3, EU version.


After that I played BaGM, about 5-6 games, no problems whatsoever.

Games that freeze up, is about the worst thing.

Most times I can deal with the occasional bug/glitch here and there. But when your experiencing repeated lockups...that I just can't deal with.

My free time is pretty valuable to me. So it drives me crazy having an hour or so of my time wasted by freeze ups. Myself, I've been very lucky with the NHL game this gen as far as this goes. I think '11' froze three times, the whole year.

If this problem does prove to be wide spread, I sure hope EAC fixes this, up quick and in a hurry. I know I won't bother starting a GM mode, till it's patched. [if needed]

i ll hope EA fix this in a hurry.... if not this IS a gamebreaker for me
