Sad to say but nhl 11 is better game than nhl 12, less bugs, better speed, faster shots, better checking, computer cheats less, you can HAVE breakaways, passes faster, puck bounces more, players lose their balance sometimes, hard to take hard passes, and not 4-6 players battling in front of net, you get some shots through also..Only goalies are little better in 12, and sim engine. Speaking of offline, havenยดt test online ever.

No NHL 11 for me thanks, or NHL 12 for that matter. It's about NHL 2K10 for me.Comment

Re: Back to Nhl 11
This sounds like NHL 12 to me. I am also sorry to say that NHL 11 is a much better game just due to the tuner set online. The current tuner of this game makes it absolutely boring as hell to playComment

Re: Back to Nhl 11
Certainly everyone has the right to play whichever version they prefer.
But for me....I'm enjoying '12' more than I did '11'. Although I did enjoy/play the heck outta '11'. I like '12' better mostly I think because anything is just more possible with NHL '12'. Imo...there's quite a bit more variety in ways to score with this years game. And the goalies seem a lot less robotic now.
My biggest disappointment with '12' I think would be....I was hoping this years game would be a bit more sloppy [vs the cpu] than it's turned out to be. Ie, more neutral zone/board play. But overall [even with it's faults] I like '12' over '11'. To each his own though.1969 NFL ChampionsComment

Re: Back to Nhl 11
I think both series do plenty right and plenty wrong. It's always been that way and there would have been a way to marry to two games when they were both being released, chances are there would have been ALOT of happy hockey gamers. For me at this point, EA has gotten stale and the issues with NHL 12 weigh heavier on me than those of 2K10. A game that is by no means close to even great. It's just the lesser of the two evils at this point to me.Comment
