I want to buy NHL game mainly for Franchise mode. So which NHL, EA or 2K had the best franchise mode.

EA has the deepest, most immersive franchise available for hockey titles.

Yeah, and the best Franchise mode they had was 2K8, but it froze early in Season 2. So basially you can only get one season out that Franchise mode. 2K10's is decent, but too plain, though the headline part at the home menu is pretty cool.

2K10 had a nasty freeze glitch that ruined their franchise mode.

Never patched it, sadly.

You could reload your save in 2k though.

EA NHL 12 has frozen for me a few times, overall the 2k had better "stat" tracking than EA, with the history, books, league leaders, more in depth career stats, goalie wins, less franchise glitches (like the new sim engine if you join late in the game and you win, your goalie gets no credit for the win).

Entirely up to you, I say try both like i have, 2k is what? 10 bucks now used? and with 2k share you can get the latest rosters created by the kind people who still play it.
