anything is better than what we have been playing the past so many years.

they just gave us a full plate today, hopefully we get more detail on certain things from here on out weekly.

my fav is the GM Mode online.. finally, will be able to play a season/franchise with all of our EASHL team members. i even like how it gives you the option to play or just coach. just hope this works out the gate and has no issues like what the NCAA Dynasty mode had last year.

I hope this means teams will play differently rather than the same team in different colors. I didn't play 12 after the monotony of 11 in which all the teams played exactly the same way.

This sounds great, now we need to see it in action. I'm hoping this means we will see a major difference between stars and grinders, and also see a difference in the way teams play the game.

Team-first presentation sounds similar to NCAA Stadium Sounds, at least the way it reads. Anything to bring more life to the game, I'm all for it.

Nice to see some real info instead of 12 seconds of NHL12 footage from the 'teasers'.

Sounds good so far,...the proof will come in the playing,like it always does.

Hopefully for offline play we have better control over slider settings,and hopefully for the goalies we can get better human goalie controls.

People really don't understand the point of a teaser.

I understand quite well what a teaser is.......those vids were the equivalent of Betty White being used as a teaser for a Kate Upton sex video.

Like already mentioned above, news always seems great this time of the year.

Gameplay wise I just hope that they've kept working on the "real life" physics engine and hitting... We all know that when they first advised us about it, it was on a 3-year plan, but to me it's still faaaar from perfect and need more work.


If they used two engines, one for offline and one simplified for online, it'd be a better experience for the offline players, as online you just can't have real time physics.


I hope that the skating is a part of an improved physics engine overall and part of their plan...
