PS3 Graphics Issue

Huh, this is an odd one. I have both systems, so maybe I'll check it out. I only played the 360 version thus far.

Trying to as well, but the EU 360 Marketplace still won't let us download the demo.

I tried switching my PS3 to a max of 720p from 1080i and it might have looked every so slightly better but the effect was still quite jarring. The crowd don't seem to be too affected so it's almost as if the motion blur is at fault, kinda of like it's impacting the players when they're hardly moving.

Perhaps it's not as noticeable on larger HD TVs but on my 32inch screen it sticks out like a sore thumb. A lot of people are noticing it and this is definitely something in the game rather than any equipment issue.

I play on ps3, and my NHL 11 looks a lot better than this. If EA follows their pattern, what you see is what you are going to get. I have it preordered, but i am considering cancelling because of this.

Its indeed blurry on the PS3. The graphics got a...strange feel to em. The lightning seems off too. Hope it doesnt carry over to retail. Doubt it does but IF it DOES I will not buy NHL 13.

Maybe it's that "fog" that EA mentioned in the Presentation blog that gives that blurry effect

The Demo looks great on the PS3. It looks even better than NHL 12 and I think 12 looks great. Looks more realistic, no graphic issues on this end.
