-New commentators
-National Team Jerseys
-Include the Olympics into Be-A-GM (playable) and into Live the Life
-Fully Customizable jerseys/logos in EASHL
-Reward Offensive Zone Puck Control
The longer the puck is controlled in the offensive zone, the slower and more sluggish the defensive players become. Eliminates puck chasing and easy break aways from defensive players both on EASHL and vs. CPU.
-More immersed crowds.
During Fights. After goals. Chants after go-ahead goals (Chanting away teams' goalies' name) etc.
-Scaled down hitting. Create puck awareness skill where the higher it is, the more likely you are to naturally avoid hits if your player is facing a player and not deking (equivalent of having your head up in real life)
-More disparity between elite and 4th line grinders
I don't want to deal with custom roster projects in order to fix issues like this.
-Introduce styles of play for each player. Much like NBA2K series.
Odd-Man Rush (Pass vs shoot), crash boards, dump/carry-in, etc.

-30 team control in BeAGM to keep rosters accurate through the season.
-Roster share ala NBA 2K.
-Ability to edit EVERYthing, including contracts.
-Make the menus load faster. Custom music screen is BRUTALLY slow.
-Reduce "ice tilt" (yes, it does exist no matter what anyone says)
-Continue to work on goalies, because we're still not there, yet.
-Artem to have an NHLView ready for NHL '15 launch day on PS4!

Ea needs to make a wish list. Their wishlist would be one thing:

I wish people would buy NHL15. because right now it's dead in the water for me and alot of people.

They wan't serious consideration for my purchase?

It needs to be available for xbox360.
They need to include alot of the last 2 or 3 years wish lists.Because we haven't got 95% of them.

Skate around/pass the Cup for as long as you want!

I just spent 4 months playing 82 games plus playoffs and won the Cup, and all I get is the same cut scene of trophy presentation, shots of 4 guys lifting the Cup, then the team picture? YAWN.

That has to change. Skate around, pass the Cup, have some fun with it. It would be so easy to do.

Don't really have anything to add to the wish list. But I will say, judging by NG games like NBA and FIFA, (and MLB for PS4),they'd better get their act together and blow us away.

Now we see what can be done on NG systems by those who care.

Major Things:
Have actual penalties happen(How sad is it that in 2013,I have to state this. And EA should stop blaming the way the users play as to why they don't have enough penalties, people play NHL games today the same way they did several years ago, and those games had penalties,it wasn't until around NHL11 or 12 that the penalty issue began)

Fix up the Playstation sim times for Be a GM and GM Connected(the most is next to unplayable for a number of people because it'd take like an hour to sim a whole season,compared to a game like MLB where it has 162 games and 2 levels of minor leagues and you can still sim a whole season in several minutes)

Better physics(I know EA changes it each year,but work still needs to be done. Look at MLB and how good their physics system is, SCEA even said they could improve on MLB The Shows physics system(even though people were already happy with the physics system at the time) and they still found a way to improve on it)

New commentators(it's the same ones for YEARS. NBA 2Ks commentary is great cause of how realistic it sounds and the variety of things they talk about, and even little things, like if they get cutoff while talking,they'd be like "And back to what I was saying before about...." before resuming what they were saying)


Little things:
Player Portraits(Some players takes YEARS before EA updates their photo in the game,I remember seeing Kessels Bruins portrait on a game despite being on Leafs for past 2-3 seasons.Other games don't have this issue. NBA for the most part is from the neck up,so you can't tell,Madden has players in generic jerseys,and MLB is actually starting to update portraits through roster updates. NHL should just follow what NBA does and have portraits from neck up so we can't see jerseys.)

Custom Sounds(Custom sound feature in NHL is great, but there's some minor issues, such as the correct music not always playing when the home team wins)

Add in what you want for NHL 15!

Your idea kind of sounds like the Ignite Engine, which could be the presentation messiah for NHL 15. All of what you listed is what I'm hoping to see done with arena and crowds, nice to know others want the same things.

Gameplay aspects

- Revamped shooting and passing mechanics. They don't have to change the way you do it, but more animations or adding physics to passing and shooting would be nice. There's maybe 5 different wrist shot animations, and 3 of them are awful. Passing doesn't look great either, most of the time your guy just pushes the stick forward with no shoulder movement. Saucers are fun but they look even worse than a regular pass.

- Improve the dump and chase game. There was an attempt from EA to do that this year by adding the bouncy puck stuff, but that hasn't really panned out and didn't make the dump and chase a better experience. To improve forechecking they should add the ability for users to deflect the puck into the zone off a hard pass or loose puck. This is hard to explain without video examples, but Pittsburgh does this a lot; Letang/Martin etc. will fire a pass through the neutral zone and a forward just chips it into the zone and starts their attack. Would be awesome if added correctly.

-As literally everyone has been asking to see added for years now, Total Stick Control. If it were up to me-

• RS from 9-3 o'clock for poke checking: Poking from 9-10 or 2-3 increases your chance of drawing a penalty as this is an unrealistic angle. Spamming the poke also increases your chance of drawing a penalty as well. Poke effectiveness would be based on how far away a defender is, and that defenders hand-eye and poke rating.
  
  
• RS from 8-4 triggers a stick sweep. Self explanatory, but I'll add that the stick sweep needs to serve a purpose. Before in NHL 12, 11, 10, 09, etc., you could deflect a puck and effectively shut down a passing lane using the sweep. Starting in NHL 13, the stick sweep became pretty much useless. They have to change the sweep to the way it was before 13.

Presentation

-Eliminate cutscenes during gameplay. The devs got this right when they partially added real-time presentation in 13, but they haven't expanded on that for 14. The game has to flow. From the goal, to the celebration, to the scorer heading back to the bench and getting love from his teammates, everything needs to happen naturally, without repetitive and dull mini-movies. Of course the before and after game cutscenes need to be more interesting and immersive.

-Add way, way more faces. For ****s sake why are so many important players on every team in the NHL still using generics. And if anyone who has taken scans before is missing their likeness next year...

I would like more edibility when creating players like 2k10 had. I would like to see the ability to have sliders for face features....or better yet, GAMEFACE! But not like madden, where you only get one....It should be like fifa where you have multiple GF's created.
I would also like to see them fix all the non-gameplay aspects of the game. There are sooooo many little things that they can add that make the game quite indepth. an example would be the scouting. you should be able to get proper scouting reports from you scouts. It would be great if you could select a player and scout him exclusively.
as far as gameplay...well I play be a gm exclusively so I would like to see my D-men not be the stupidist players on the ice. They get the puck in the d-zone and just completely shut down and create turnover after turnover...that is ice-tilt IMO.

Grab your pitchforks, everyone! But seriously, here's hoping EA makes some large jumps in the next iteration of one of the best sports game franchises ever made.

I spend a lot of time playing Be a GM

- simming needs to be much faster.

- Be a GM needs to keep all stats for each player. I can sim 25 years into the future but only see a players stats for the last 3 years?

- Be a GM should keep a "trophy case" for each player, see if they've won awards, in which year, or all star honors.

- Every year should have Hall of Fame inductions, and as a GM you should get a vote.

- You should have the ability to retire numbers for your team each year if you so choose, and then perhaps a pre-game raising to the rafters.

- should be able to utilize and injured reserve

- should be able to sign players to future contracts throughout the season.

- Contract negotiations with players should be more in depth, with counter offers, no trade clauses.

- bring hot and cold streaks into Be a GM, make them togglable.

- I would like to be able to define my "best lines" so that when I select best lines, the computer makes the lines closest to what I view as the best lines, rather than its idea of what the best lines are. (for example, I want a young rookie to get 2nd line minutes, but the computer will always put him on the 3rd or 4th line after selecting "Best Lines" after an injury)

- I should be able to redefine a players position, similar to the real NHL. (trying out a winger at centre, moving a defenseman up to forward) Maybe if they play in a new position for 2 weeks, they are changed to "LW/C", for example.

- I should be able to go back to previous games and view their box scores

- I fully expect the next game to have newer, more varied, animations, replays, better facial graphics, commentary, etc.

- The gameplay in NHL 14 is good, but get's repetitive. More "hockey plays" and playing styles need to be included. More coaching effects would be fun, maybe your assistant coach could pop up, and let you know how effective a line change or goalie pull has been, or to suggest one. Just a thought.
