New Tuner Available -- Thoughts?

A new tuner is now available for the PS3 and 360 versions of NHL 15. I only played one game and haven't noticed any differences yet. For those of you who have had a chance to play a few games, has anything stood out to you?

Saw this too. Thought the original tuner got deleted or something. Haven't noticed any difference.

I was browsing the EA forums and apparently the tuner has removed game misconducts from EASHL... And it's also being suggested that the skating has been tweaked so that's something to watch for.

it may have been the HUT settings that I can't edit before a game but I noticed way more penalties in my last game. havent played using my settings in play now with the new tuner though

That's funny, because I swore I was getting less penalties in the HUT single player game. I started a thread on the EA forums about it, but it got hijacked and turned into a debate about game-misconducts or rather their recent removal. I suppose it's just my cynical perception of this game.

after playing more, I'm definitly on the PK more often. Noticed more fighting in HUT as well.

Seems to me game play is more loose, but I just started playing the last gen version after finally giving up on next gen as far as BeaGM mode goes.

Was there a 2nd tuner? Playing last night and it said press Y to download the latest tuner. Haven't noticed too much what fixes there were.

I'm strictly an offline player - I do NOT like this new tuner. Goalies have become unstoppable - it's not even fun to watch because their save animations defy reality at times. I have also see hardly any penalties being called. They may have tightened some stuff up, but I couldn't really notice it. But I'd stick with 1.00 if you just play offline.

i've downloaded all the tuners, how can I revert back to v1.0 for offline play?

when you go to customize - and then to your game settings: you'll note at the top of one of the page options you'll see the tuner setting. Since you downloaded it I believe it will be called "latest" - just go back to version 1.00. Make sure you save your profile (although I think auto-save does automatically).

what are everyones thoughts on the new tuner? I'm still not getting that many powerplays. I'm on pro with hardcore simulation

I think it's great.. I'm seeing penalties. The CPU team took a double minor one game and a game misconduct the next.

Funny... I saw the complete opposite. 6 straight games without a single penalty called. Odd...

I have definitely seen more penalties called especially game misconducts for boarding or hitting from behind either committed by myself or CPU. The goalies, at times, are walls and very difficult to score against. I haven't had a great chance to play since the tuner came out but initially that is what I am seeing.
