NHL15 Updated Roster
Now that the season has started, won't EA release an updated roster file, accurate with real rosters as they are now? If no, it'd be much appreciated if someone could point me in the right direction to get a good roster file for NHL15, PS3.
Thank you!Tags: None -

Re: NHL15 Updated Roster
In the past, EA has not put out a new update until each team has played 10 games. They wait until the window closes on guys who have the 10 game NHL clause for being sent back down. So I wouldn't get too excited that something comes out quickly. Plus, being that their focus is now on Xbox One, we will probably be second in line for anything.
There is an updated 360 roster here by "pezdaddy" that is outstanding and totally up-to-date. You need to know how to use offline files, but his directions are simple and easy to follow. It already has everyone in it that you need.STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Roster for the 360 is on page 5 / post 46 of this thread:

The last post on page 5 (at the very bottom) gives detailed instructions on how to move the file from your computer to your console.STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Re: NHL15 Updated Roster
I'm attaching a zip file with the official EA roster update (#2). This is seperate from my own rosters which I release just before opening night. The official set from EA, as others have indicated, has some legends (Bourque, Kurri, etc) that were in the hidden players section, I moved them to the EA Sports Legends team (I moved out extra forwards from current, such as D.Sedin, St.Louis, etc. but couldn't move out too many current d-men because there weren't that many hidden legends that were d-men).
The zip file has the db file for viewing in NHLViewNG, as well as the converted file that is used by an app such as Horizon for placing on your flash drive to import into the game (360 version)
Here are my recommended actions:
(1) download the official update within nhl15 (360) and save it as the default roster name (roster2 if you already have a roster save, or roster1 if you are creating new or overwriting) to your flash drive
(2) move flash drive to your pc, access it using Horizon
(3) under drive explorer find nhl15, and then the name of your roster save from step 1, then double-click on the roster
(4) in contents (right most) tab right click on the long roster name (rosterXXXXXXX where XXXXXXX is time stamp) and choose replace
(5) choose the NON-db file in my zip file and hit ok when it confirmed success
(6) choose 2nd tab Save, Resign and rehash and click OK to confirm success
(7) close Horizon, eject flash drive and move to xbox360
(8) load roster from flash drive, go to roster management and find EA Legends team. You'll need to reset lines (many blanks) or choose to have cpu choose linesAttached FilesComment
