Offline Legends

I've been pleading for more indepth legends since NHL 12, compared to other sports games, particularly the NBA 2K series, NHL has been extremely behind. Now they finally make legends, but they're not available for offline use? Or even any use on the previous gen? How difficult is it to take all the new legends and to include them in the next roster update? Why is it that everything that EA does, it's done extremely half assed?

They're hidden, use NHL View to activate them. Surprising: Lindros, Robitaille, Sakic, Bure and Bossy only have generic faces

Is it possible to use nhl 15's db on nhl 14 to play with the new legends?

Bummer. Was considering picking it up for that reason alone. Do they at least have call names for commentary?
