There was a program, can't remember the name of it, where you could take your roster file and make changes through the program. It was much easier. I haven't used it since 2013. I wonder if its still out there, and if it works for 2016? Anyone remember the program, or if it still exists?

It was called NHLView. We used to use it for our revamped rosters which is a larger scale version of what 83 is trying to do here. PS3 allowed for file sharing so it was much easier to do this but unfortunately the saves haven't been figured out yet. Nobody can crack the code on how to share save files. Still waiting on that genius. And no, a version of NHLView for next gen saves isn't available yet to the best of my knowledge.

That's it!!! And that's a shame. I remember there was talk of expanding the program for mass edits and things. Looks like instead of expanding, it died with last gen.

Wouldn't the main problem with this be that it is unusable in career, as all rookies coming in will be super overpowered?

I did something like this in NHL 13 or so. And that's what I found.

Love the concept though of spacing players.

That's what a lot of people think. The CPU generated rookies are normally worse than the real rookies that are in the draft in the first 3 years of BaGM. The overalls around the league drop slightly on average after like 5-10 years.

Yes, the player separation won't be as drastic anymore, but it's still worth having a solid 5 years at least of BaGM with good player separation.

Now, if only EA would give us the option to edit draft classes....

ok I have 3 questions. 1. who has used this to rerate the players? 2. what leagues do you have to rerate besides the nhl? and 3. what sliders are you using and could you please post them here?

PS. I'm using the ratings from page 2
