Is there a way to edit a player's name and appearance? I know you can do this on CAPs, but I can't see how you do this on other players?

For EA-created existing players, the only things you can edit are their position, player type, equipment, ratings and beard. You can't edit their names or change anything such as hair, skin tone, eye color, etc.

To answer your question - you can't edit that stuff.
