Roster Sharing is Possible

So I think I found a possible work around for roster sharing for the xbox one side of things. The xbox ties all saves and games to a profile so when logged in elsewhere all ur saves and games are shown since everything is saved through the cloud. So I was thinking u could make a free xbox throw away profile not tied to a credit card and simply create a custom roster on that profile. Once the roster is ready for release u could just post the sign in info for the profile. Other users can download and sign into it then the custom roster should show up with the profile. Once loaded in game simply switch to ur primary profile and save it to urs. I dont see y this wouldn't work.

I'm going to post a test roster this weekend to give this a shot. If this works we can all as a community use the same throw away gamertag for sharing rosters, ki d of like a vault just sign in save ur roster to the profile then when we sign in itll be a community of roster files. Or we can just make our own gamertag either way it should be great.

Unless something has changed, this was attempted when next gen consoles dropped and it did not work.

But let us know how it goes.

I kno I do it all the time with madden switching in and out of profiles saving a roster from one to another but it may be different when trying on a different console.

With the draft tonight going to edit my roster to reflect the draft also created Ilya Kovalchuk since hes not in the game. Then ill test the sharing out with another xbox and see if we can get this working. If so ill be doing a full offseason roster for NHL 18.

Sounds great. Do you know if there is a PS4 equivalent to this? I have a ton of classic rosters I’d like to share, but sadly I made them on the PS4 version.
