Just wanted to post a quick bit of helpful feedback. I look at Rask and see he's overall lower than Ryan Miller. So for the past day I whipped up and studied vids, gave them agility and poise ratings. Poise was mostly based off save % the past two seasons. Agility was based off athletic saves. There are two kinds of tender: One that's buttery smooth agile; Price, Quick, Vas, Bob, Mzarek... and one that's clunky like Howard, Koskinen, Kuemper, Lehner. Of course there's a range in the middle and below, and it's all subjective, but I rated them based on what I saw and judged them as best as possible.

I know it's hard doing it all by yourself and it's volunteer; I work on two games all by myself. Check out the doc just for a quick delight. I know they might not work within the EA system, but I'll be using them for my Hitz game.

It's cool to see different schools of thought on approaches, good stuff

I did rebound ratings. EA doesn't have a clue when it comes to them. I based them off the past two years (some stats italicized if I used AHL for bigger sample rate) of 'rebounds above expected', backwards.
Places like moneypuck.com are super helpful for figuring out these things. I recommend them 100%.

It is about 99 percent done, just Winnipeg to finish. I've started inputting the ratings as well, Arizona, Anaheim and Boston done.

I also adjusted the way the algorithm handles defensemen because I wasn't liking some of the results I was getting. I made some adjustments to factor in quality of competition (based on zone start percentages) and shots against per 60. I also adjusted the weights in the defensive awarenes calculation for defensemen for PK time, relative corsi, time on ice and zone start percentage

Liking the results much more now
