Does anyone know if the players in ECHL still dont show up in franchise?

For those that dont know, for several years the players in the ECHL dont show up in franchise. “In the system” has players from Europe, Junior etc but not from ECHL. Even if they were under contract. You would have to manually move them to the AHL or any other league to see them be available.

I can test it out when I get home from work in a few hours, since I've moved Jakub Vrana to The Toledo Walleyes until him shoulder heals. I just never checked because one would assume he'd be there.

Sorry, got busy and forgot to post. If appears that you're right, that these players will not show up in Franchise if you put them in ECHL, even if they are big names under a multi-year contract.

Since I don't think this is something EA cares about, like HUT, than probably just stick them on any old Euro team so they'll at least be in your syatem.

Thanks for checking. Good to know. Has been like that for years.

The work around is simple. I move anyone who has a contract to the AHL. I then move the players that are still under team control by draft rights to Europe. Lastly, if there is a player thats young or talented with no contract, either Europe or free agency.
