How do you enable Position Lock in nhl 23 i cant find it anywhere

I wanted to try player lock since Pernell speaks so highly of it. I literally just now went through and plugged in his sliders and setup all the other Settings. I never saw it in there anywhere and was wondering about it. Unless you have to go into the pause menu after you actually start a game, that's all I can figure out, haven't tried. I'm pretty sure in NBA2K that option is done outside of starting a game, so seems it should be same here as well, could be wrong.

Same i wanted to try cause pernell said it was good to use but i cant find anywhere how to enable it unless i am missing something

Click the right analog stick in (called the "R3" button) on the select sides/team select screen before confirming which team you want to control. Can be done pre-game or during, from the pause options menu.

Edit: MB, it's L3, as Pernell said. R3 brings up the X-Factors.

Before a game starts guys, in the controller where you choose your side, you click on the Left Stick, or the right, not sure, lol ! until you get the position you want…. Et voila ! 😀

I am looking at it as we speak. It is the left stick (L3) on the PS5 anyway.
