Update... Game Speed lowered to 1 (from 2).

Is there a way where I can get my CPU teammates to do the faceoff instead of me that isn't inconvenient? I can't win one to save my life no matter what. Game plays beautifully otherwise. Sticking with these sliders.

The only thing you can do is lock your position to any position besides center...I think you can do that in the "select sides" menu

Has anyone tested these with the new tuners yet? I'm trying to figure out how to not auto-update them before I sign in and lose the 'first' tuner update.

Since period lengths are obviously longer than previous years, I made the test last night to know what were the period lengths in real time in NHL 16 compared to NHL 15.

Note that these are approximate times, so it may vary by a few seconds.

In NHL 15:

7 minutes periods lasted 5:05
8 minutes lasted 5:50
10 minutes lasted 7:15

So, 1:00 lasted approximately 0:45.

In NHL 16:

5 minutes periods last 5:25
6 minutes lasts 6:30
7 minutes lasts 7:35

So, 1:00 lasts approximately 1:05.


After seing the results (and since I was familiar to 8 minutes periods in NHL 15), I think that I may lower my period length to 6 minutes instead of 7 in NHL 16.

I made the change to 6 minute periods a day or so ago, thanks for confirming our suspicions!
