(Fictional) Q & A to give some info about this set

Q:I've downloaded new tuner. How can I get back to out-of-the-box tuner?
A: If you are on PS4 then you just have to delete your NHL16 profile. After that it should be back at original tuner set V1.00

Q: Why Pass Interception is at zero?
A: I've experiment with this slider for the last releases and next gen won't do any exception with the results (imho). When you put pass interception at zero it will make puck more loose: more bounces from sticks, skates etc. There are still interceptions but it just makes players sticks to be less "magnetic" towards the puck.

Q: Can't connect passes, even the easy ones. Can I change Pass Assist?
A: That happens to me too (like with Ovechkin on that video) but I personally like that I have more freedom to pass in open areas and can't connect all the time even the cost of percentage. You can surely put Pass Assist to 2 and it should give better %

Q: I suck at manual shot aim. And manual line changes too. Can I use auto?
A: Sure. And if there's too much wide shots using auto you can put shot accuracy to 1 for human and cpu (all shots).

Q: I don't want to use side cam. Can I play with good ol' classic?
A: Sure. You can use whatever you like. Camera won't have any impact on cpu's gameplay.

Q: Lines won't get their energies filled to max while resting. Should it be like that?
A: In real life teams are most energetic in the first minutes of the period and as time goes the tempo drops. With this fatigue combination you'll see just that. TOA is still quite realistic for cpu/auto also and with manual you can roll your lines with realistic TOA.

Q: You use authentic puck size but to me it's hard to notice. Can I use bigger puck?
A: I actually don't know how puck size impacts on deflections etc. I recommend to touch Puck Highlight and leave size authentic.

Highlights
Ovechkin to Kuznetsov (hum)
Johansson's backhand on PP (hum)
Duclair's deflection (cpu)

Re: pm83's NHL16 Sliders (incl. gameplay video)

After more games I'm convinced that One Timer Accuracy and Shot Accuracy at 0 is the way to go. I've noticed that I have more control about aiming because I can shoot more wide which then leads to better rebounds. I've also seen more "chaos" in front of the net because shots being more wide. Shot totals are realistic too with 9 mins.

And because I use True Broadcast cam I have better passing with Pass Assist at 1. For up and down cameras I think it's better at 2 clicks. So I'll stick with that too.

Really happy with these sliders. Having great games! Just got destroyed by Coyotes 4-0.

Hi!

Yes. You should get realistic stats using these cpu vs cpu. I've tested cpu vs cpu some time ago and sliders were pretty much the same as now. Would be great to hear the results if you play with these!

You asked about tuners. They are EA's updates which in my opinion make game worse. You should have out-of-the-box tuner if you haven't played games online. V1.00 is the original one.

These settings on my season are so fast with massive hitting. Nothing like your videos. I have no idea why because i started with "hardcore" style before i made the changes. I'm thinking it's a menu glitch. I had this happen after a tuner update and had to reset my sliders.

Unfortunately on Xbox you'll have to delete more than just your profile. If I'm correct you should delete your profile which includes rosters etc.
