I really wish 6-12 minutes was really playable, am hoping it is in NHL 17, or imagine a 20 minute goalie slider ^_^', with realistic shots and scores, I just hope am not disappointed in NHL 17, but I guess I can try to focus on 7-8 minutes at least in NHL 16, my goal for NHL 16 12 minute periods was disaster, but something else accord to me 8 Minutes also gives a large amount of shots, its technically 12 minutes but in 8 minutes form, I dunno how they did that, but It sure is weird, then... another possibility is attribute effects I've never left anywhere from : 5 , am gonna try other values in a moment or later on today or tomorrow, am just like there has to be way, they can't just scale the game to 4 minutes what they claim sometimes, .

Have you seen the latest news, they're adding more sliders and presets with those kind of settings. It would be wonderful to have realistic sliders with realistic shots on target etc.

Hopefully they will work with goalie mode better than they have done the last few years.

yes I have, that's why I hope am not disappointed in NHL 17, by a game breaking bug or glitch or another oddities , but I sure welcome the 0-100 sliders .

when NHL 17 hits stores in September, am gonna buy it, and decide what period length i'll set it at, if 20 minutes is truly playable and shots are lower I might attempt 20 minutes, but if its not I might go back to 8-9 minutes, I got look first glance in one of post on here of the rules section for NHL 17, but I can promise I will try to configure the goalie sliders in a way so we get 30-45 shots, depending on how game play is and how easy it is to figure out in NHL 17, cause I want to get those golden stars, in NHL 16 I think I was just lucky I figured out the 5 Minute periods, but goalie sliders don't happen in a day or two, cause I have to play them and get feel for them and work out the kinks, one... thing might target in NHL 17 with sliders : 0-100 is the defensive AI if they have this in NHL 17, but... anyways the goalies sliders will be there after 2-3 weeks (depending on testing and experiment period) when NHL 17 is released.

Yeah I really hope there aren't any game breaking bugs either and that they balance out well. the 0-100 settings sounds great, hopefully they won't bring any more problems with them, the reset bug that's been around the last few years was bad enough. Hell maybe they'll surprise us and the sliders will at least allow goalie mode to at least be playable a lot more out the gate, I mean back when they first introduced goalie mode it worked, somehow over the years with the improvements they lost that. Also looking forward to seeing how the new animations will play out, and how well the AI will handle the net battles when playing as a goalie. It's a shame the Beta will only cover the online aspects, it would be nice if they did at least one offline mode as well.

so I... visited all online modes and other modes, and found they have released alot of silent tuners for online modes, it seems most of those tuners actually effect offline modes aswell, everything seems speeded up more, which makes offline modes bit harder play as of now, am being beaten in five hole alot, and pylon defense is back in NHL 16, they are not defending like they used to now , they just let them walk in mostly, which is terrible scores have now become 4-7 scores now, and I think that's nail in the coffin for goalie mode, there's no sliders that can effect the AI CPU goalie currently, I dunno how am gonna fix this one.

am gonna try to fix it again, or try to lower time limit: 4 Minutes, anyways am still trying to solve where it went wrong, just AI CPU seems so fast now all of sudden, and AI CPU seems to be standing right in front of the net again, which makes it difficult to stop, but.. am still holding in there.

So... After visiting each lobby for online games, it looks like the game updated again, which greatly effected offline play, so here are adjustments I made:


decreased - time limit: 4 Minutes (from: 5 Minutes)
decreased - player acceleration: CPU: 1 / Human: 1 (From: CPU: 2 / Human: 2)
decreased - fight difficulty: 2 (from: 3)
decreased - pass interceptions: CPU: 0 / Human: 0 (from: CPU: 3 / Human: 4)
decreased - one timer accuracy: CPU: 1 / Human: 1 (From: CPU: 2 / Human: 2)
raised - aggression: CPU: 5 / Human: 5 (From: CPU: 3 / Human: 3)
