Odd things you've noticed while slider testing

I noticed that if the cpu bobbles a pass at all, it counts as an incomplete pass. Whether it bounces off the stick and back on, it still goes against passing percentage. I'm playing a game right now where the passing percentage for the cpu is 34% even though there are a lot of bobbles and not a huge amount of errant passes.

Anyone else notice anything odd like that while testing?

one thing I noticed with one of sliders in goalie mode, I had the setting: CPU: 20 and Human: 95, my goalie the one I was controlling was moving all glitchey and stuff , so I human down to 90 and he wasn't glitchey anymore , , but he was slightly glitchey but not as bad as before.

Re: Odd things you've noticed while slider testing

Just for kicks and giggles, I was trying to see if i could make players blow a skate on the ice. So far even with stumble threshold at 100, no luck. However I did move cpu aggression down to 0 thinking I could just skate around with the puck freely. Odd thing was, I noticed the defensive forecheckers back off some (duh) and on our zone the cpu didn't chase much (duh again) but it resulted in the forwards back checking more. There's still enough pressure in the offensive and defensive zones (shots are 9-6 with 3 minutes left in the first). I am going to play another period and see if there's more neutral zone pressure.

I don't know if it's me but I noticed the game speed seems to pickup in the third period. Swaying between game speed of 2 and 3; need a 2.5.... Anyone else get that impression?

I did until I changed fatigue sliders around. It could be any number of things. AI learning, AI strategy adjustment, fatigue recovery. Until I found a nice spot for all 3 I was getting anywhere from 3 to 5 goals in the third.

Cletus. Are your sliders posted? I'm tweaking AlTitos Sliders as my test slider base.

Re: Odd things you've noticed while slider testing

raising fatigue recovery will give enormous speed and attribute boost to the cpu

Not yet I'm still trying to make cpu offense better without it being overpowering or cheap but if there's something specific you need help with feel free to ask.
