Cycloniac's TrueSim NHL 17 Sliders

I'm back at it again!

You know what to expect by now: simulation hockey. Throughout the years, I've never been afraid of pushing bounderies and trying different things with sliders, and this year, with more options and control than ever, I'm taking more chances.

I've been tweaking these since the game dropped, and now, I feel comfortable posting what I've got.

As usual, these sliders are designed to play as realistically and as smoothly as possible. Tweak if necessary. These were tested via CPUvCPU, and using the True Broadcast Cam in order to get an accurate measure of game and player speed.

The premise of these sliders is player differentiation. I don't have time to develop an NHL roster and plug in all of the ratings anymore, so I want to really push the limits with what EA has given us.

I will definitely give these a shot next time I fire up NHL. I love true broadcast. It plays so different than the other cameras.

I like the different approach with the game speed at 6, plus having the fatigue effect low at 35, instead of higher. I lowered mine from 75 to 50 the other day for 5/6 minute period sliders. I may just jack up the speed from 3, to 6 and try them out.

I'm plugging these in and saving a preset, always loved your slider set ups.

I'm gonna give them a try but I'm gonna keep the penalty slider at 75 because I haven't been seeing that many penalties, as for the hits I noticed that they were a little low, usually teams hit averages are in the 20's maybe bump up the aggression?

I've seen hit totals vary, depending on who's playing.

This was my first game seeing totals below 20, actually.
