Updated Sept 17/17

Trying attribute effect at 10. Top line players now play like it but not over the top.

Have fun and make any changes to suit your style of play. I play as locked into position. The game style is sim style.

If you have any questions as to any of my settings, feel free to ask and I will give my reasoning.

Position Lock player as well. Definitely will check these out.

Update:
After a few games (and frustrating to say the least) these are things I've seen (and it could be me).

The CPU tends to recover their puck that was poke checked about 85% of the time. This is getting real annoying.
CPU can score at any angle.
CPU, from a standing position, can body check my player?? No idea how because it doesn't work for me.
I turned Attribute slider down to 5 because the CPU became too good.
Reduced game speed to 3 because I felt it was TOO fast.
CPU doesn't take many penalties at all.

I am not finding most of the issues that you have. For penalties, just up the cpu amount. I usually get around 3-4 pp per game and take around the same.

Re: Dog1602 NHL18 Sliders

Made a few changes to smooth out some of the weird AI issues where they fumble the puck.
Playing with the attributes on 10 you notice a difference with players but not so much that the better players just dominate all the time.
Game is playing pretty good for me now.

Part of the issue could be that the settings aren't always loading in game. When I started a game, I looked at the settings. They weren't set to these. Sometimes you have to re-load the settings even in-game. Another bug to add to EA's.

So, I'll have to try these again but double check the bugs. The checking thing though, I think was always an issue with this game.

Yes I have seen the loading/save bug.
Although I have not noticed the checking thing, I do know it had been an issue in previous versions, so its probably still here as you have said. Not much we can do with that though.
