INTER1 ROAD TO THE STANLEY CUP ALL STAR SIM SLIDERS

The purpose of these sliders is to give a fun sim game overall. I think i'm onto something here. You will see broken sticks on shots, rolling and bouncing pucks, pucks that will roll off your stick, great goalie play and most imporantly, team AI play from both sides. You will see the CPU with odd man rushes and breakaways if you don't play smart defensively or time your line changes right, but you will also be rewarded with a breakaway and 2 on 1 on the CPU as well, so make them count. Gone is the CPU stick lifting you with ease, and you will earn power plays by cycling the pack and making smart cuts with your players. The board play is awesome with these sliders as well! You will have to play smart hockey for the full 20 minutes. Dump and chase, board play, screen shots from the point etc. Goalies are beatable as well with a great shot. Being in front of the net for a rebound goal is so rewarding. I'm getting OT games, high scoring goals and low scoring games.

These are a work in progress, but i'm very happy with how the game is playing with these currently. If I can get some feedback on these, or thoughts on slider changes, that would be awesome. Enjoy!

Oct 14: CPU aggression to 65 from 60 (This is a game changer. Players that are supposed to hit will. You will be pressured when you shoot and have less time to dance around in the offensive zone, while making the play in your own end a little more nerve wracking)

HUM injury from 53 to 51. Losing a guy or 2 a game so dropped down a few notches. Like the variety of injuries so far however.

Oct 15: CPU penalties now up to 70. Trying to get a few more PP's a game as im averaging 1-2.

CPU fatigue effect 78 and Fatigue recovery down to 30. They should get tired easier and not super human in the offensive zone. Noticed a big difference immediately. They will still catch up to you, but now it's not as quick as before. CPU acceleration down to 45 and ability down to 45. They cant stop and turn on a dime as fast now which is more realistic.

Upped HUM fatigue effect to 70. Gotta change your lines out quicker which is realistic and you will scramble in your own end with tired players more!

Lowered tripping on both sides to 35.

Period length is now at 7 minutes.*

Re: INTER1 ROAD TO THE STANLEY CUP ALL STAR SIM SLIDERS

Just by reading what you posted I feel like these might be pretty awesome. I'm unable to test these for now since I'm away, would you be able to test them using CPU vs CPU for a game if you have time and let me know how it goes? I think I might be using these in coach mode.

I will for sure give the CPU vs CPU a try. I'm curious to see how these would play with AI controlling both teams. Just played a game and lost 3-2 in the shootout. Saw some new animations, and the game played great. Loving the puck physics and turnovers by both myself and the CPU. Every game has been a joy to play so far.

Re: INTER1 ROAD TO THE STANLEY CUP ALL STAR SIM SLIDERS

Upped CPU aggression from 57 to 60. Seeing more bigger hits and more pursuit in the offensive zone by the computer. Don't play around in your end because they will make you play. Saw something new the last game I played against the Islanders. I was on a PK and I flipped it out of my zone. Melker Karlsson knocked the puck down at centre ice with his stick and kicked the puck ahead in one motion to skate past a stunned d man for a breakaway who was also trying to knock the puck down. Didn't score but it was awesome!

Do you think these sliders would work well on PRO difficulty? I can’t keep up with ALL STAR

Re: INTER1 ROAD TO THE STANLEY CUP ALL STAR SIM SLIDERS

Made some key changes to the sliders on first post. Saw more CPU penalties. Played the Islanders and they had 11 hits on me. Lots of big hits. If it wasn't for Martin Jones, I would have gotten booed out of the building. Lehner was a brick wall and I couldn't make the most of my PP opportunities. Lost 1-0 in OT. 29 shots for NY and 25 for me.
