Re: TNK NHL 20 SLIDERS

have u tried slightly higher setting of this yet, don't u think delay of game at 30 is really low.

Delay of Game: 74-75 (or 73)

I had it at setting 74 for longest time, I think u might like it, it also might be right up your alley for realistic.

I haven't tried anything because I do get occasional puck over the glass delay of game penalties both by me and by the CPU

Will give it a try at a higher setting though

TNK BOSTON BRUINS FRANCHISE

Game #75 of Season
Boston Bruins (50-20-4) @ Los Angeles Kings (28-38-6)

1st Period - The Kings opened the scoring midway through the period when John Moore lost control of the puck in front of his own net and Anze Kopitar took advantage of the blunder by Moore to give the Kings a 1-0 lead. The 1st period was evenly played and came to an end with Los Angeles leading 1-0 and the shots were even at 11-11.

2nd Period - The score remained 1-0 past the midway mark of the 2nd period before the Bruins got on the board when Bergeron came through the neutral zone with speed and slid the puck over to David Pastrnak who made a quick cut to the middle and snapped a laser top corner past Campbell for a goal to tie the score 1-1 with 6:02 left in the period. The Bruins had momentum and would generate a number of chances late in the period but the 2nd period came to an end with the score tied 1-1 and the shots were 25-18 in favor of Boston.

3rd Period - The Kings came out flying to start the 3rd period and had some early chances but Halak came up with some big stops on Toffoli and Lewis in the Boston net to keep the game tied 1-1. The clock would wind down to the midway mark of the period and the score remained tied 1-1 with under 10:00 to play in regulation. The clock ticked down to the final minutes of the 3rd period and Los Angeles would go on the PP when Jake Debrusk was called for slashing with 1:47 to play. The Kings had a glorious chance with just over 0:30 remaining when they set up on the PP and Kopitar fired a one timer but Halak made a nice pad save and Boston would clear the zone as the 3rd period came to an end with the score still tied 1-1 and the game would head to overtime. Boston out-shot LA 35-29 in regulation

OT Period - The Kings began OT with 13 seconds of PP time remaining and they would win the faceoff to begin OT, gain the zone and Adrian Kempe would find Anze Kopitar cutting to the net for the OT game winner on the PP just 0:11 into overtime to give the Kings a 2-1 victory

* The Bruins fall to the Kings 2-1 in OT

* The Bruins fall to 1-0-1 on the road trip and 50-20-5 on the season while LA improves to 29-38-6

* Anze Kopitar scored both goals for Los Angeles including the OT game winner just 11 seconds into overtime. Kopitar now has 20 goals on the season

* David Pastrnak scored his 17th goal of the season for Boston

* Jack Campbell was outstanding for LA stopping 34 of 35 shots in the win

* Jaroslav Halak played well for Boston stopping 28 of 30 shots

* The Bruins will wrap up the road trip at SAP Center in San Jose as they take on the Sharks who currently lead the Pacific Division with a record of 44-26-4 on the season

Re: TNK NHL 20 SLIDERS

So I just finished the regular season in my Penguins franchise. I want to say again thank you for these sliders. I played all 82 games with them and they played great.

I finished 3rd in the eastern conference with 100 points and will take on the Montreal Canadiens in round one. Leta go Pens

TNK BOSTON BRUINS FRANCHISE

Game #76 of Season
Boston Bruins (50-20-5) @ San Jose Sharks (44-26-4)

1st Period - The Bruins would open the scoring midway through the period when Bergeron stole the puck behind the San Jose net and found Brad Marchand alone in the slot for his 27th goal to give Boston a 1-0 lead. The Sharks would tie the score in the final minute of the period when Sorensen found Jonny Brodzinski crashing the net with a gorgeous saucer pass and the 1st period would come to an end with the score tied 1-1 and the shots 9-6 in favor of Boston

The Bruins would strike again less than a minute later when Danton Heinen finished off a pretty passing play from Ritchie and Coyle to make it 3-1. Boston would carry play for much of the period before the Sharks made a push late in the period thanks to a pair of PP opportunities but were unable to score and the period would come to an end with Boston leading 3-1 and out-shooting San Jose 22-15 through 40 minutes

3rd Period - The Sharks struggled to generate offensive pressure in the 3rd period as the Bruins clamped down defensively and the score remained 3-1 until late when Marchand set up Jake Debrusk for his 2nd goal of the game and 35th tally of the season making it a 4-1 game with 2:42 remaining. The Bruins would hang on for the 4-1 victory

TNK BOSTON BRUINS FRANCHISE

Game #77 of Season
Detroit Red Wings (36-36-4) @ Boston Bruins (51-20-5)

1st Period - The Bruins opened the scoring just over 6:00 in when Coyle won a puck battle in the corner and passed to Danton Heinen who fired a shot from the top of the circle that trickled through the pads of Howard and over the line to give Boston a 1-0 lead. The Red Wings had some quality chances late in the period but Rask was sharp in the Boston net and the period would end with the Bruins up 1-0 and holding a 11-8 edge in shots

2nd Period - The Bruins extended their lead early in the 2nd period when Pastrnak fired a cross ice pass to Patrice Bergeron for a one timer that beat Howard to make it 2-0. The Red Wings answered right back just over a minute later when Darren Helm redirected a shot from Mike Green past Rask to cut the Bruins lead to 2-1. Detroit started to carry the play and had the better chances throughout the remainder of the period but Rask came up with several big stops to keep protect the Boston lead and the period would come to an end with the Bruins leading 2-1 and the shots were now even at 22-22

3rd Period - The Bruins got a big goal to open the period when Torey Krug skated the puck all the way up ice on a beautiful rush and found David Krejci at the far post for the tap in goal to make it a 3-1 game with 18:09 to play. The Red Wings would get back to within a goal when Larkin set up Zadina in the high slot and his shot beat Rask but rang off the post and the puck would bounce to Anthony Mantha who snapped it into the open net to cut the Bruins lead to 3-2 with 13:36 remaining. The clock would tick under 10:00 to play as we were headed for what should be an exciting finish to what has been a great game. The Bruins were clinging to the 3-2 lead with under 5:00 to play and would extend the lead on a wild sequence as Rask made an incredible save going post to post to rob Larkin and Boston would race the other way with the puck where Howard was forced to make a tough save on a Coyle chance but Brett Ritchie was crashing the net and slammed home the rebound to give the Bruins a 4-2 lead with 3:25 remaining. Detroit would get Howard off for the extra attacker in the final minute and David Pastrnak would bury an empty net goal to finish off a 5-2 win for the Bruins

* The Bruins grind out a tough 5-2 win over Detroit in a game that was much closer than the final score indicates

* The Bruins improve to 52-20-5 with the victory while the Red Wings drop to 36-37-4

* Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak both had a two point as each scored a goal and added an assist. Bergeron's goal was his 22nd while Pastrnak scored his 18th goal

* Tuukka Rask was very good in the Boston net stopping 31 of 33 shots

* Jimmy Howard stopped 30 of 34 shots for Detroit

* Anthony Mantha scored his 27th goal and Darren Helm picked up his 13th goal of the season for Detroit

* Danton Heinen scored his 25th goal of the season for Boston

* The Bruins will remain at home for their next game against the Ottawa Senators who are 36-36-5 on the season
