TNK - Boston Bruins Franchise

Regular Season - Game #6
Boston Bruins (4-1-0) @ Carolina Hurricanes (4-1-0)

1st Period - The Bruins and Hurricanes played a physical 1st period and the game was scoreless until Carolina got on the board late in the period when Swayman made a save on a shot by Nino Niederreiter but Niederreiter was able to collect his own rebound and score to give the Hurricanes a 1-0 lead with 4:59 left in the period. The Bruins started to tilt the ice which produced a number of chances but Frederik Andersen was sharp int he Carolina net keeping it 1-0. Boston had their first PP opportunity with 1:17 left and they would have some good looks but the clock would run out bringing the period to an end with Carolina leading 1-0 despite being out-shot by Boston 15-6 in the period.

2nd Period - The Bruins started the 3rd period with 43 seconds of PP time carrying over and they would cash in quickly as they set up in the offensive zone and David Pastrnak would come off the wall and snap a rocket past Andersen to tie the game 1-1 just 26 seconds into the period. The Bruins were energized by the Pastrnak goal and they would strike again a few minutes later when Grzelcyk made a ncie play at the blue line to draw a defender before working the puck down to Erik Haula who took the puck to the net and beat Andersen to give Boston a 2-1 lead with 15:59 left in the period. The Bruins were dominating play but Charlie McAvoy would take a slashing minor to put Carolina on the PP with just over 11:00 left in the period. Curtis Lazar took a high sticking penalty midway through the PK and the Hurricanes would cash in on the two man advantage with Martin Necas just getting the puck past Swayman who dove across the crease and almost made an incredible save and the game was tied 2-2 with 9:53 left in the period. The Hurricanes remained on the PP and struck again for another PP goal as the Bruins defensive structure broke down and Jesperi Kotkaniemi got the puck all alone in the slot and scored to give Carolina the 3-2 lead with 8:43 left in the period. The Bruins were pushing for the tying goal late in the period but time would run out and the teams would go to the 2nd intermission with Carolina leading 3-2 and the Bruins holding a 15 edge in shots

3rd Period - The Bruins entered the 3rd period trailing 3-2 and looking for a full team effort in the final 20 minutes as they try to come from behind and avoid losing their second straight game. Boston came out flying to begin the 3rd period as the top line had some great pressure in the offensive zone and Marchand would find Patrice Bergeron at the far post for the tying goal making it 3-3 with 17:05 remaining. The Bruins were dominating play and peppering Andersen with shots as the clock ticked down under 10:00 to play in regulation with the score tied at 3-3. Andersen continued to be the difference in the game and the sole reason the score remained tied as he made several tough saves down the stretch with the Bruins controlling play and the 3rd period would end with the score tied 3-3

OVERTIME - The Bruins and Hurricanes would both have chances in OT but both Andersen and Swayman were strong in their nets making some clutch saves to keep the game tied and we would head to a shootout to decide a winner David Pastrnak scored in round 1 for Boston and Jeremy Swayman would deny all 3 shooters for Carolina as he stoned Svechnikov, Aho and Teravainen to give the Bruins a 4-3 win

TNK - Boston Bruins Franchise

Regular Season - Game #7
Florida Panthers (1-7-0) @ Boston Bruins (5-1-0)

1st Period - The Bruins had an early PP as Weegar went off for holding just over 4:00 in but Pastrnak took a tripping penalty to negate the PP and the teams would skate 4 on 4. The Panthers were controlling play with just under 12:00 left in the period as they had some lengthy possession in the offensive zone and Ullmark had to come up with a pair of excellent saves on Tippet and Barkov to keep it a scoreless game. Boston went back on the PP when Verhaeghe was called for tripping midway through the period but were unable to get the puck past Bobrovsky and the score remained tied 0-0. The game remained scoreless until the final minute of the period when Marchand entered the zone along the outside and cut towards the net where he found Pastrnak with a pass across the slot for a goal to give the Bruins a 1-0 lead with 0:16 left in the period. The Bruins took a 1-0 lead into the 1st intermission and had a 14-9 shots advantage

2nd Period - Trent Frederic was called for interference putting Florida on a PP early in the 2nd period and Frank Vatrano would snap a shot past Ullmark to tie the game 1-1 on the PP with 15:09 left in the period. The Panthers went back on the PP with 7:24 left in the period but Boston would get a couple of big saves from Ullmark and would kill off the penalty to Smith. Boston scored less than a minute after returning to even strength on a beautiful rush by Taylor Hall who showed off his stick handling skills and undressed Bobrovsky with a move to his backhand giving the Bruins a 2-1 lead with 4:42 to play in the period. The 2nd period came to an end with Boston leading 2-1 and out-shooting Florida 22-16

3rd Period - The Bruins had a couple of quality scoring chances in the opening minutes of the 3rd period but Bobrovsky robbed Frederic on the door step keeping it a 2-1 game. Boston had a chance to extend the lead when Forsling went to the box for hooking with 13:37 remaining. The Bruins set up in the offensive zone and worked the puck around with patience before McAvoy slipped down low with the puck and fired a perfect pass through the defender in the slot to Craig Smith at the far side for a one timer that beat Bobrovsky to make it 3-1 with 12:38 remaining. Barkov was called for a penalty to put Boston right back on the PP and this time Marchand would set up Patrice Bergeron for the goal to give the Bruins a comfortable 3 goal lead at 4-1 with 11:02 left to play. The Bruins were defending well down the stretch as time ticked away and Florida would get a with 0:56 remaining as Vatrano scored his 2nd goal of the night to make it 4-2. Florida would pull Bobrovsky for the extra attacker and Pastrnak would add an empty net goal to finish off a 5-2 win and that would be the final score

TNK - Boston Bruins Franchise

Regular Season - Game #8
Detroit Red Wings (4-5-1) @ Boston Bruins (6-1-0)

1st Period - The Red Wings had an early two man advantage as Pastrnak and Carlo took penalties 32 seconds apart but Boston would survive the 5 on 3 PK and get back to even strength. Boston opened the scoring 8:02 into the game when Marchand came through the neutral zone and attacked the net from his off wing and slid the puck on his backhand over to David Pastrnak for the goal to give the Bruins a 1-0 lead. The Red Wings answered a few minutes later on a fortunate bounce when Forbort mishandled the puck at the blue line leading to a partial breakaway for Lucas Raymond who had his shot stopped by Swayman but Charlie McAvoy was unable to clear the puck as it bounced off of him and into the net to tie the game for Detroit 1-1 with 9:07 left in the period. The Bruins were dominating play but Marchand was called for holding with 1:29 left to put Detroit on the PP. The Red Wings were unable to generate any good looks before the end of the period and the teams would go to the 1st intermission tied 1-1 with the Bruins out-shooting the Red Wings 11-3

2nd Period - The Red Wings had 31 seconds of PP time remaining on the Marchand penalty to open the period but Boston would return to even strength and continued to control play through the first half of the period but the score remained 1-1. Detroit started to find their game a bit midway through the period but Zadina would go to the box for holding putting Boston on the PP with 6:04 to play in the period. The Bruins would come through on the PP as Reilly worked the puck down low to Haula who fired a quick cross ice pass to Craig Smith whose one timer broke through Nedeljkovic for a PP goal giving the Bruins a 2-1 lead with 5:13 remaining in the period. Boston came right back with heavy offensive pressure and Nedeljkovic went into a split to make an incredible save robbing Coyle but Craig Smith would regain possession behind the net and fight is way to the net front where he fired the puck top shelf for his 2nd goal in a little over a minute to open up a 3-1 Bruins lead with 3:51 left. The Bruins continued to dominate the final minutes of the period and the period would end with Boston leading 3-1 and holding a lopsided 30-10 edge in shots after 40 minutes

3rd Period - The Red Wings were going to need a miracle in the final 20 minutes as they entered the 3rd period trailing 3-1 after being dominated for 40 minutes. Detroit came out and scored just 34 seconds into the period as Larkin won an offensive zone faceoff to Filip Hronek who had his shot blocked but the puck would deflect off Forbort and sneak by Swayman on the change of direction to give the Red Wings life making it 3-2 with 19:26 left to play. The Red Wings had momentum and would get a huge PP opportunity when Haula was called for holding with 13:54 remaining. The Red Wings went to work on the PP and Dylan Larkin would spin away from Clifton down low before sneaking out front and beating Swayman to tie the game at 3-3 with 12:06 left in regulation. Bertuzzi was called for holding to put Boston on a PP opportunity with 10:50 left and Boston had some good chance but Nedeljkovic came up with some tough saves to keep the game tied and Detroit would get back to even strength with just under 9:00 left. The Bruins would retake the lead less than a minute later when Coyle won an offensive zone draw back to Clifton who shot wide of the net and Coyle would muscle Vrana off the puck in the corner and find Craig Smith at the far post for the hat trick as he scores his 3rd goal of the night to give Boston a 4-3 lead with 8:01 remaining in regulation. Detroit had a flurry of chances with just under 6:00 left but Swayman would make 3 big saves in succession denying Kahun, Fabbri and Suter in a span 5 seconds to keep it a 4-3 game. The Bruins would go on the PP again when Stecher was called for tripping to put the Red Wings down a man with 4:39 remaining. The Red Wings PK unit did a good job to kill off the penatly to Stecher and get back to even strength with 2:39 to play. Detroit was looking for the equalizer but Boston was playing with good structure defensively and Fabbri would get the puck in the high slot and fire a rocket on net that Swayman was able to stop and freeze the puck for a faceoff with 1:06 remaining. The Bruins would get the Bergeron line on the ice and win the draw as they were able to dump the puck down the other end with less than a minute to play as Detroit would get up ice and get Nedeljkovic off for the extra attacker. Detroit had the puck in the offensive zone for the final 30 seconds but Forbort would sacrifice the body to block a shot by Vrana and McAvoy would chip the puck out in the closing seconds as the Bruins hang on to win a tight one 4-3

See if you can make 12 or 10 minutes work for you

You cannot play a franchise with less than 10 minute periods and get anything resembling proper amount of shifts for players, shots, etc.

TNK - Boston Bruins Franchise

Regular Season - Game #9
Boston Bruins (7-1-0) @ Toronto Maple Leafs (8-2-1)

The Bruins are in Toronto for a big early season test against the Maple Leafs who are currently in 1st place in the Atlantic Division sitting 3 points ahead of the 2nd place Bruins

Boston added another goal before the end of the period as Forbort fired a slap shot from the point that was kicked out by Campbell and Karson Kuhlman scored on the rebound to make it 3-0 with 1:47 to play in the period. 2nd Period - The Maple Leafs cut it to a one goal game just 2:32 into the 2nd period when Ullmark stopped a Muzzin shot off a faceoff and Grzelcyk coughed up the puck in front to Ondrej Kase who fired a quick shot to cut the Bruins lead to 3-2 with 17:28 to play in the period. Toronto was getting the better chances throughout the 2nd period but the score remained 3-2 thanks to some timely saves from Ullmark and Campbell as we moved into the late stages of the period. The Maple Leafs would tie the game when Auston Matthews located the puck in a maze of bodies as he swatted it out of a net front scrum and past Ullmark as the Leafs come back from down 3-0 to tie the game up at 3-3 with 3:04 remaining in the period. Toronto had momentum on their side and was swarming the Boston net as the 2nd period came to an end with the score tied 3-3 and the shots were even at 24-24

The Maple Leafs would get a big PP opportunity early in the 3rd period when Carlo was called for slashing but failed to convert as Ullmark made a couple big saves and the PK unit did a solid job. The game remained tied 3-3 as we reached the midway mark of the period thanks to some clutch saves by Ullmark and Campbell as we would enter the final 10:00 of regulation with the score tied 3-3 and the shots even at 31-31. The Bruins were flirting with disaster as Derek Forbort was called for tripping to put Toronto back on the PP with 8:58 remaining but the Boston PK unit did a great job of limiting the scoring chances and the Bruins would get back to even strength with just under 7:00 left to play. The clock ticked down under 5:00 to play with Boston starting to tilt the ice and the Bruins would some chances in the final minute of regulation after Forbort laid out Tavares in the corner but Boston was unable to score and the 3rd period would end tied at 3-3 sending the game to overtime

OVERTIME - The teams would skate 3 on 3 to begin OT and the Maple Leafs would get the game winner just 38 seconds into OT when Morgan Reilly won a board battle against Marchand and moved the puck to Auston Matthews who sent in Mitch Marner who had a step on the D and Marner would beat Ullmark with a move to his backhand for the game winner to give the Maple Leafs a thrilling 4-3 OT victory

Re: TNK NHL22 Sliders

TNK - Boston Bruins Franchise

Regular Season - Game #10
Ottawa Senators (4-4-3) @ Boston Bruins (7-1-1)

The Bruins are currently in 3rd place in the division and will host the Ottawa Senators at TD Garden. The Bruins will have a couple changes to the lineup as they get Nick Foligno back after he missed the last 6 games with an upper body injury and Jakub Zboril replace Connor Clifton on the 3rd D pair. The Senators are without their star player as Brady Tkachuk is out a few more days recovering from a mild concussion. Boston will have Jeremy Swayman in net while Ottawa will start Matt Murray between the pipes

1st Period - The Bruins killed off an early Senators PP opportunity and Boston would open the scoring when Bergeron set up Marchand for pretty goal to give the Bruins a 1-0 lead with 11:22 left in the period. Boston took control and was dominating play in the late stages of the period and Trent Frederic would score his 1st goal of the season when he used his speed to get around Chabot and beat Murray with a shot to make it 2-0 with 1:20 to play in the period. Frederic took a penalty in the final minute and the 1st period came to an end with Boston leading 2-0 and out-shooting Ottawa 14-5

2nd Period - The Bruins failed to convert on a pair of PP chances in the opening 10:00 of the period. The Senators could not convert on a PP of their own with Marchand in the box for hooking and Ottawa started to find their game a bit in the late stages of the period but Boston was playing very well defensively and were limiting the scoring opportunities for the Senators. The 2nd period would end with the Bruins still leading 2-0 and the shots were now 24-10 in favor of Boston

3rd Period - The Bruins would get a big insurance goal early in the 3rd period when Norris tried to skate out of the defensive zone off a faceoff but Carlo tapped the puck away to Smith who passed to Taylor Hall who fired a rocket from the high slot beating Murray to make it 3-0 with 17:04 remaining. Ottawa went on the PP with 15:26 to play as Carlo went off for slashing but they could not get a puck past Swayman and Boston would get back to even strength. Pastrnak was called for tripping to put Ottawa back on the PP with 9:30 left and the Senators would finally get on the board as Tim Stutzle showed great patience as Forbort went down to try and block the shot and Stutzle delayed before beating Swayman to make it a 3-1 game with 7:31 remaining. The Bruins would put Ottawa back on the PP with a golden opportunity to make it a one goal game as Carlo went off for holding with 5:30 to play and Lazar would also be called for holding with 5:08 left to turn it into a lengthy two man advantage. The Senators went to work with 1:38 of 5 on 3 PP time but the Bruins penalty killers did a great job to survive the 5 on 3 but Ottawa would score right after returning to even strength as Colin White got a step on the D and beat Swayman to cut the Bruins lead to 3-2 with 3:02 remaining. The Senators suddenly had momentum and could smell blood as the Bruins were now in survival mode as they try to protect a one goal lead in the final 3:00 of regulation. The clock would wind down as the Senators for Murray off for the extra attacker and Ottawa had a great chance with just under 1:00 to play as Sanford beat Swayman but his shot rang off the post and Boston was able to clear the zone and would put the game away when Pastrnak played the puck back to McAvoy whose wrist shot from the point found the empty net to finish off a 4-2 Bruins victory
