    Slider Suggestions

I'm giving this approach a try because I've become beyond frustrated with All Star. I see some threads that SS is easier but I'm not sure I'm good enough for that.

Here is my current state. Any advice would be great. I started on All Star with CPU learning all the way up. This led to incredibly frustrating games where even when I'd score, 95% of the time to CPU would come back and score on their next shot.

I started by turning down learning as well as decreasing some of their sliders like aggression, accuracy, reception ease. I also increased my goalie sliders.

There was almost no change. Very frustrating. Either Im unable to hold a lead but win 6-5 in OT, or I can't score and they blow me out.

I'm now down to CPU learning at 0/6. And still basically noticing the same things. I also rarely score with anything other than shooting while going across the slot.

Do I move to Pro and go back to 6/6 learning?

Exact...same...experience. I did go to Pro and then reset my sliders a bit to offset the difficulty change but it honestly didn't do much. Same thing happened but just to a lesser degree. I gave up. To be honest, I haven't played the game in over 2 weeks and have been playing Legacy and other older NHL games instead.

I can fix this and make the game much more enjoyable but it will require you to make drastic changes..

Here you go try these EXACTLY how they are explained and played.

Broadcast CAMERA and POSITION LOCK must be used for these to play correctly.

Let me know if you try them and if they helped

Position Lock is a game changer. I beleive the game is meant to be played with controlling one player. It is so much more fluid and dynamic to control one aspect.

Thank you for the suggestion. Saved 22 for me.

Yeah, sounds really interesting but it's just so foreign to everything I enjoy about playing sports games. And no other game I've ever had has needed this to be playable.

I had it playing super, until the last Patch came out and derailed the whole game.

              I absolutely agree 100%

I can tell you that there is a microsecond delay between switching from player to player and that makes a HUGE difference. It also takes CPU controlled player and takes it OUT OF POSITION because most players actually dont know where to be and when to be there.

Just wondering did you try my sliders and camera settings.. Let me know

              thanks

Yes, the microsecond delay is very noticeable now that I am playing with player lock on. You also get to engage in player net battles, more emphasis on breakouts from your own end and a variety of ways to score and play defence.

I orignally set your slider, but did not find them to gel with my style, but I've played about 10 games now in my franchsie and will give them another shot as I the ones I am using are not quite up to par. I did not use the Broadcast cam tho.. I couldnt find the balance witht the controls, but I have been using dyanamic low and it works very well..

Thanks again for the tips. Gamechanger
