I will play NHL23 a bunch simply because I love hockey and 22 was solid on the ice, but seems like it's another year of tinkering sliders a ton before getting something decent and a franchise mode that is so close to being incredible but just gets ignored too often.

Wow, nice catch! I wonder if they even implemented the 1-3-1 or if they just said they did and it's window-dressing. This game is an easy pass for me. Not worth the insane hours spent doing customization to play.

Also according to Reddit (and I’m confirming because I haven’t seen any new intros yet), the new intros are limited to a few teams like Philly, Colorado, Tampa, Carolina, Toronto, and Vancouver.

Either a bug or incredibly terrible marketing.

The new intros are terrible. I'm 10 games in, have seen the national anthem intro twice and it lasts 5 seconds and the other intro is standard view above the ice again for 5 seconds. Goalie matchups intros are gone. Shame.

I’d never put the game down if it even 1/2 way mirrored real life.

Hockey is awesome……but game is too arcade for me.
