god I miss the NBC Presentation. It was s good and immersive. If you combine that with the gameplay this game has, you've got a great product. All I can really do in the current-gen NHL is simply play online versus, or EASHL Drop In Games.

You know what gets me this game actually plays decent out of the box as stats are pretty even but they still don't have over what seems like 30% of real faces in the NHL ?
But they had the time to add five totally detailed diversity higher referees that kind of wrecks the immersion when playing classic hockey games.

I guess I'll be sticking with NHL 22 for a long time because it's only going to get worse. The same goes for Madden 20 no Redskins or silly racismlogos , MLB the Show 20 no Indians or roster share but at least NBA 2K 23 is embracing classic rosters to a degree with era's though the coaches , crowds and refs dont represent the eras fan base .

No mistake you know EA always does this two steps forward and 3 steps back and will bring it back under a new name Haha but why and the heck would presentation cause issues especially on current gen ?

This is one of the biggest reasons why I skipped. They market the heck out of presentation and then make it inconsistent and remove all extra replays when the CPU is involved.

Just a sour taste even before I had any hands-on gameplay. Reminded me of the 15 EASHL debacle and the NHL 18 legends lifting the cup in marketing campaigns but not being available for offline modes debacle. Just gross.
