Yawn not worth the $69.99 dollar price tag. Plus a woman doing color commentary not really interested in hearing that sorry it’s a man’s game has to be a better option than what we’re being givenComment

I like what I see. Obviously there is a lot more that can be done but any new additions are welcomed. The customization options for goalie masks would be a bucket list item. Maybe one year we’ll get them. It looks like the UI for customization has changed hopefully for the better. All that CHEL stuff doesn’t matter to us offline players lol animated jerseys lol. The dynamic boards look to be very helpful for those that care about in game stats.

That women probably knows more about hockey in her pinky finger then you do at all, unless you also have two Olympic gold medals and played professional hockey, which I already know the answer to.

How? Don't give them credit for bringing back full replays. The best thing in this trailer is the new commentator. She sounds great and we finally replace Ray. The game looks absolutely dire when one of the hype points is replays and the new celebrations that are far worse then ever before. Zoom in on a guy while his teammates follow him around bumping into everything.

I'll reserve judgement when I play the 10 hour trial. At least they are trying new things instead of the same old presentation we've had for several years now. (looking at Madden)How? All those nice upgrades to the presentation... and then you see the PRESSURE meter in the middle of the ice (constantly), VR tags showcasing X-Factors instead of real hockey things like stats, achievements, etc. Cuz nothing says hockey like the word TRUCCULENCE floating next to a player's head... (DAFOOG is TRUCCULENCE?? Not even a real word...)
Another missed opportunity is how they can't implement the fact of your team has FULL PRESSURE from the crowd noises (like the chants), they gotta plaster that on the ice and all over the digital boards like hockey fans have an IQ somewhere between -2 and -200:
"Hey der, Bawb! I recon we have dat der FUHL PRESHR whatthey callz it on the coun' of that der meetr on the florrr"
"Daaaaaaaaaggum, Philbert! Ew jes might'n be rite... Waz dem people cheer'n so loud fer?"
"A-Hyyyyyyyuk!"
"A-Durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!"

That's what I meant.. this team is trying new things and I love that.
I do hope they listen to franchise players and allow us to remove all the meters and such. We don't need to be told we have sustained pressure, you should be able to tell a team is tired by pinning them in their own zone for a period of time.Comment

I’m a bit confused. When they talked about playing with the sound off they mentioned having the boards show all information rotating on screen like live boards. Is that only for when you have sound off or is that always? Sure looks like it’s always there. And why is the closeup goal celebration with weird spotlight lighting and dark ice? It’s not pinball. It’s hockey.
