cpu teammate slider. that’s still bull. since last tuner i have hardly seen any teammate penalties, if any,now turning them down more makes no sense, except in hut.

Like the first two changes from a sim perspective. I didn't know there was a "debuff" for getting pinned so I'm glad that's gone - I tend to use pinning as more of a way to simply slow down the pace of play. Most of the other offensive pressure-related changes I'm fine with too - if it allows not having to use the fatigue effect slider to keep the ice-tilt full pressure effect from happening more than a few times a game I'm fine with it.
Didn't know you still got a speed boost even if you were hustling on zero energy... Glad that's gone too.
Penalties...meh, whatever. I know people have their own opinions on this, but I feel like those changes in the last few updates have simply been slider changes to the default preset (which is used for online) and nothing else - meaning if you put it back where it was you'll still get the calls you were getting before - probably tripping first and foremost. It was 5 on the default NHL 24 preset pre-tuner and now it's 1.
As always, double-check which settings you're using in the pre-game options menu - it still likes to revert back to the default sometimes before you actually start a game (even if it shows the preset that you want to use, the sliders and the gameplay will reflect the defaults).

C'mon EA, lowering the penalty slider even more? Are you listening to the "10" players that spend $1k on this game in buying HUT items because you definitely aren't listening to the majority of the community??? The penalty system is already too low and you lower it more??? Ridiculous!!!
If you keep bowing down and praising the developers, (NHL series) nothing they give us the consumer will ever be a "finished" product. Take a stand, it is your money!!!.

Right when I was trying to dial back in lol..
I played one game on the new default settings, no slider changes, period changes etc. Superstar 3 min periods! The game for sure had a new feel and honestly felt decent, with that said my issues that came up with the last update are still there, the CPU can't do anything at all no matter what. But, I just give them a 15-20 point slider advantage in speed and acceleration and the game evens out and is kind of enjoyable a bit.

The penalty changes are just the default slider settings. It’s not behind the scenes tuner changes so if you use custom sliders, your game should be unchanged.

if i already have sliders saved and still use new tuner, will the sliders stay or will i have to redo them?

Terrible update designed specifically for online players. Played 2 games against CPU in the Stanley Cup and destroyed them. They basically removed the only good feature they've added to this series in years. At no point did playing those two games feel as exciting as it was before.
The CPU never got the pressure system activated against me even when taking 5 shots in a row. I saw it activated maybe twice per game for myself and it does nothing now in terms of being important.
Everyone had near max stamina for the entirety of the game whereas before I'd see players with none and lines depleted.

what is the use of the pressure system if it doesn’t get activated anymore.i played a full game, 7 minute periods with same settings i had before tuner, pressure system didn’t get activated at all. and also i was getting 4-6 penalties a game before. now 2. both on me.

Hmm. I play significantly longer periods than the default (10 min) and still see multiple instances of Full Pressure in a game. Before this tuner I had to really lower Fatigue effect (to 40 or below) to keep it from completely taking over the game when full pressure activated. I'm still feeling it out but finding 70 to be a pretty nice balance that still makes the full pressure instances meaningful. If you're playing less minutes than that you may want to consider maxing it out.
Having players seemingly losing no energy over the course of a period is a recovery slider issue - they are losing it while on the ice but getting it all back in time for their next shift. This is still pretty good for me at default 65 (again, 10 min periods), but you might want to go lower if you're still seeing green bars late in a period (recovery from fights or timeouts notwithstanding). That slider has a very strong effect - if you want to test, put it on 0 for Human and take the first few shifts of a game. Your lines will literally NEVER recover once they've hit the ice the first time.
Just some suggestions to try and help. I can definitely relate to the frustration of have to change sliders for updates. And, like everyone else, I don't understand why they have the functionality to allow for storing multiple tuner updates on the console, but don't use it.

how many hits do you and the cpu have in the longer period games?
Hits, as a game stat, are unsalvageable IMO without completely neutering the physical game. That's because of two things -
1: The game is counting some contact as a hit that really shouldn't be - like a player just getting brushed but still holding onto the puck. Happens a lot over the course of a game, and really bloats the hit totals.
2: <s>Two</s> Three "moves" that cause hits as opposed to just the one in previous years. Whether it's the CPU or your CPU controlled teammates, it's just more opportunity for them to throw hits than has been in the game previously. Not a bad thing in and of itself, but when you pair it with reason #1...
To give a straight answer, the game usually shows around 40 hits a side when the total of "real" hits (knockdowns or checks into the boards) would probably be closer to 20 or so. Even that's still high, but I still like to have the opportunity to see a big hit once in a while and lowering the hitting lower than I have it now (10, with speed effect 30) would keep that from happening. I'm just living with the number being wrong now, and am enjoying the game much more for it.
I'll toss in my thoughts on penalties as a bonus - they're just so random that it's hard to narrow down how much of an impact the sliders have. I can put CPU and Teammate on 100 and see no penalties in a game, then put it back on 50 and see 4 or 5. I don't think it's reversed or anything, they're just that random. The only thing I can really say with some certainty is that I almost never see the Elbowing call unless I move its specific slider up. Crosschecking is more frequent than that but still rare, and the other physical ones basically never get called no matter what. I see enough of the stick infractions (especially tripping) that it kind of makes up for the lack of physical ones.
