If you are tired of the stale presentation and the feeling of groundhog day, I strongly encourage people to try the legacy broadcast camera. Granted the controls scheme will feel alien and may require some relearning, the switch of camera makes a HUGE difference to the presentation and has actually made this game very enjoyable for me. Everything looks more authentic and less arcady. Player models look different (which is a good thing) and the proportions in relations to the rink feel much more accurate. I honestly don't understand why EA do not shout about this camera more, because it improves the visual experience multi fold compared to the up / down orientation.
There are three more things I do.
1) I would suggest increasing the contrast to 70 (in the Accessibility menu). This will bring out the skate marks in the ice and will make everything look a little more authentic.
2) The game speed will feel very fast with this camera (due to the left - right orientation). I find that the game speed at 1 is most suitable for this camera.
3) I remove the ugly circles under the skaters and only leave the names. This way you can appreciate the skating motion more, especially this year with the new vision control.
