Did they remove some of the "actions" that you used to be able to do with Icon passing?

I thought when IP was first introduced, if you double tapped the button, the recipient would do a one timer off the pass. Am I crazy? Or is the only way to do it is make the pass then quickly move to the right stick and do it the "old fashioned" way?

Bonus question: Maybe it's the new controls, but is it not possible to bounce the puck off the sideboards and slip around the D anymore and pick the puck back up? I think it used to be RB and then the pass button when skating up along the boards?

While skating up the boards its LB and towards the boards I do believe for that move.. But I also feel like there was more too it when it was introduced, wonder if they dumbed it down?

This is correct. The only LB deke difference is behind the net where you can chip it off the net.
