When you play someone else online, does it have ranking system?

I didn't know where to ask this but I remember in prior NHL's when you play online and you win or lose you often go up or down a level for online play so you get matched up appropriately.


Anything like that for online play this year or is it just series of random games that aren't counted?

It appears they took out the player hub this year so im guessing no levels. Just generic leaderboards
