Create A Player

Went to create a player and put them on my favorite team.
Then I noticed we are required to have a Play-By-Play name.

Is there a way to have no P-B-P name? Am I missing the option or
is the game missing this option?

I created a team and assigned them to the Red Wings. When I did a GM season, all my players were free agents. Is there a way for this to not happen? I don't want copies of my guys in the NHL.

Some notes regarding created players and BeaGM...

1) after creating a player, if you go back and edit that player, that player will show up more than once when you start up your BeaGM.

2) don't assign a created player to a team. This is because he will end up on a different, random team. Leave him on free agency and then sign him in BeaGM

3) I don't believe you can create players that can be drafted.

4) 'none' does not exist for Play-by-play names

this is just dumb. So I have 2 of the created players because I edited him like I apparently shouldve some how known not too. Now im stuck. I cant delete any players and I cant delete the roster and I cant seem to find anywhere to download a new roster. Am I missing something?

Welcome to NHL15, the only way to fix this is to delete the roster and start over... Just make sure you get it right the first time when creating a player

That didn't happen for me. I created myself and assigned him to an NHL team, started BeaGM and he's in the proper farm team, I Just had to call him up. For the first one, I edited the player *after* assigning him to an NHL team, and I don't see a duplicate just yet.

Interesting... I wonder what triggers the duplicate. I wonder if having him assigned prevents it from happening
