Strategy Adjustment Glitch

I'm experiencing a really frustrating glitch in my Be A GM game. The strategy adjustment tool, hitting the D-pad to adjust your fore-check and such, is permanently popping up on my screen. No matter what I do, it keeps popping up and stays on my screen throughout the entire game.

Since hitting RB changes one of the strategy settings, it prevents me from poke checking, or saucer passing.

For the past 2-3 years I've noticed this same glitch, where the faceoff setting, and strategy adjustment tool pop up and get stuck on the screen. To say the least, I'm a little annoyed that this is STILL an issue. It scares the hell out of me, since it was never fixed in previous games.

Anyone else have this issue? And if so, please tell me there is there a fix.
