Been using TB since 2013. Difficult and frustrating to begin with but after a while you get used to it. Any other view looks like NHL 10 to me.

I disagree that it is a disadvantage online vs. players who play up / down. In actual fact it can be an advantage because the moves you make and the spaces where you skate are different compared to your decision making in up/down view. An up/down player is not used to that and often finds himself out of position. My record on NHL 14 was over 60% wins online.

As others have said, change the controller to "up". The camera relative is impossible to master in this view.

Sorry for not repying earlier. I am using the always up controls. Yes, it aids the learning process but there are still some things that are difficult. Looking to see if my center is right/lefthanded before faceoffs to determine how to use the right thumbstick is the worst. Using the 45 degree cut is nearly impossible. Lining up hits is extremely frustrating. I switched back to classic last night and got a few more games in to boost my record. I think I'll take the suggestion to play exclusively offline/practice in True Broadcast for now.

Has anyone else recently made the switch? How long did it take you to get the "muscle memory" to be able to react to the new camera?
its about 10 games.
I switched with NHL 13 already

Just gave this camera angle a try, and lost 7-1.
I must admit that the game looks even better using this angle, though I worry that I'll never get used the controls. I'm going to continue to use it while I wait to start my Be A GM, and see if I can get the controls down.

Get used to it. Well worth it.

As a poster said, the only issue is the bottom corners.

Though I think bottom corners are better than NHL14 TB old gen, atleast in my opinion on PS4. Dont wanna dust off my XB360 for that, so maybe Im remember wrong until I can comfirm.
But only had this issue in NHL15 sometime when forechecking in bottom corners.

good start is with position lock.
This way U have more time to concentrate on actual controls.

Just my advice
