I'm surprised EA is keeping him out there for all these years considering the heat he draws for EA. For all we know, he has nothing to do with it,but based on all his interviews and stuff,he sounds exactly like those pushy salesmen who work on commission who'll tell you anything to make a sale, and can't actually answer the big questions.

Even if EA doesn't fire him,I'm surprised they didn't at least put someone else in the role he's in,cause he's drawing bad PR for EA big time. When 2K took over WWE video games, within a year they got rid of one of the main guys who was working on the games for THQ. Don't know if it was the reason why,but that guy drew lots of heat from the fans as he was in a similar role as "Rammer" is in right now. So at least 2K can recognize things like that, too bad EA can't.

Dunno if it's mentioned, game is on sale at Futureshop and Walmart for $49.99 on both Next Gen consoles. Clearly sales #s are all that hot lol

As added perspective, $49.99 is what Futureshop sells their "previously played" games for, lol.

No way I'm buying new, even if it was 10 bucks, I'd rather buy used for 15!!!!

If you guys are going to keep quoting these VGChartz numbers (which are immediately unreliable because they don't count digital sales), then at least use the global numbers instead of just the North American ones. Sales in other regions have become much more significant over time -- they accounted for over 40% of PS3 sales of NHL 14 according to these same charts. (Sorry, pet peeve.)

NHL 07 - 970K (PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox360, PSP)
NHL 08 - 490K (PS2, PS3, Xbox360)
NHL 09 - 990K (PS2, PS3, Xbox360)
NHL 10 - 1200K (PS3, Xbox360)
NHL 11 - 1280K (PS3, Xbox360)
NHL 12 - 1210K (PS3, Xbox360)
NHL 13 - 1190K (PS3, Xbox360)
NHL 14 - 830K (PS3, Xbox360)

Sales of NHL 11 - NHL 13 are much more consistent worldwide than in North America (though they definitely dropped with NHL 14 by any measure).

Well here in Canada the game has dropped $20 in price. The real NHL has not even started yet and this game is already on the way to the discount bin. That should be a very telling sign, this game is in serious trouble.

On another note, had a couple of fun online drop in games with NHL14 tonight.

Yup. I cancelled my 15 pre order and re bought 14 used for 360. Enjoying my favorite game modes again played 15 with access for the 6 hours and honestly the gameplay is not much different. It looks better but that wasn't enough to justify buying half a game.
