Why do only a handful of players have real faces?

Why is EA unable to do faces for all players? Should this be an issue for next gen?

Limited budget means they have to wait to scan player's faces because the players don't often come to the studios or Vancouver. So they have been traveling to scan faces in at different venues, but it is apparently a slow process.

No excuses! MLBTS has almost every players (with MLB experience) face scanned, I believe most of NBA players in both series, no idea about FIFA.. But yeah no excuses!

I agree...it is pretty ridiculous at this point. Dougie hamilton, ryan spooner and jared knight have been scanned....and still no cyber faces. It must be really hard to input them in. Come on EA.

No excuse in 2014 or at least let us edit generic faces and even if its resource $$$ thing at least give us a option to edit a bald head Anderson for Ottawa and a non blue eye corey crawford .

I mean any of us can go through each NHL team in a few hours and fix inaccuracies so its gotta be a lazy thing as how can you just look past basic things like proper hair ect when creating a fake face for a real NHLer jeez maybe the NHLPA can step in at this point .

As I recall they only have 40% real faces but they were working on it lol since 2007 ?

Me and a buddy were laughing before the release news as my wish was a new goalie masks designs and he wanted some new faces lol and we almost felt embarrassed as there wasnt even a basic season mode control all teams in this game so what were we thinking .

Lol same here but as the technology rises, we all are becoming greedy and expecting better ;-)

This is one of those things that i wish we had the ability to edit like in The Show. If EA would take the handcuffs off of player creating and give us a more in-depth editor, and roster sharing, this is something that could be gotten rid of.
I don't expect EA to get the rosters 100% perfect. There are a lot of constantly moving parts, but the handicapped system we currently have makes roster editing frustrating, and player creation/editing even worse.
