Demo Version vs Retail Version

I was on my way to buy NBA 2K15 but the EB Games I was at had NHL15 running the full game there, so I played. Man I was surprised the game was actually really good, I've been playing the NHL series since 2002. There were some downfalls like, the commentary being weak as hell, skill stick felt like the NHL07 one (when it just got introduced), and it seemed like scoring with slapshots was too easy.

When I played the demo it actually felt different the game was so **** tbh. I also saw the Be a GM Mode which is what I always play in NHL it seemed to include everything. I didn't even end up buying 2K15.

I'm actually wondering to the people who have the game how is it like in Be a GM Mode and stuff like is there anything the game is missing, is there a way to fix slapshots being so easy to score?
