Just got the game, first impression

I'm poor at the game but I like it. No idea how to win a faceoff or score but that should come with time.

One thing that immediately jumped out at me was controls. Hybrid seem more natural to me because they are similar to FIFA which I have played extensively.

I like the concept of the skill stick but my critique is this: Controls should be editable. Maybe they are and I can't figure out how to do it but I should be able to edit my controller. The other thing that seems counter intuitive is when I'm skating (ps4) I use the left joystick to determine the direction of my player. When I shoot I use the right joystick but I have to shoot straight up, straight down regardless of the angle to the goal. If I am at an angle to the goal and move the joystick in the direction of the goal nothing happens even with camera relative setting on.
