It was a mega-big-mega-super-awesome-woohoo-EA NHL history-making completely "foolish" HUT giveaway. I'm praying that's there's something with substance to come; EA NHL has not endeared itself to many people and will continue to alienate customers if that's its Greatest Day in EA NHL history.

Man I hope it's something "big". With the hatred that this game is getting it would be terrible that they hyped news with something small. I would think with all the backlash EA would tell the team to get on working on the eashl to get it out. I think that would turn things around. I feel bad for the eashlers. I personally would want to have ahl in gm, and edit goalie masks, but since the majority want the eashl I'd rather them get that.
It is fun when you jump in a game when everybody plays real hockey instead of "Oh I got the puck and I'm going to fish around, and score all by mysefl." Or when the defense don't play defense, and act like a forward.
If it's just a hut thing then people will be even madder. It's like they were making some big joke, and that wouldn't be fun.
I want to post the things I want to be added, but this isn't the thread for that haha.

Wow, that´s amazing.

What is pretty amazing if I think about it is that for the past 4 years or something i´ve had next to zero expectations for each NHL game. I told my friends 6 months ago that i think there is a relativly big chance that there will be no EASHL, ofcourse I was an idiot. Why would they remove that? Well, as usual i was right.

I must admit i was somewhat happy when they after a while decided to add it post launch. Again, i had zero expectations but they still manage to disappoint me. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? I expected next to NOTHING and i still got disappointed.

At least you should be able to start a club with your friends going up against other clubs, fair enough if you cant play and glitch with your pro and not being able to play against a human goalie is not the end of the world but wtf. Drop-in with random people ONLY? They do nothing but copy the game from previous year and have been doing so more or less for 7 years but this for some reason cannot be ctrl c ctrl v?
